Good morning! Well last weeks Anything Goes challenge was pretty popular!! Over 900 entries! We tried to get around to see everyone but I'm pretty sure a few got missed off! ;-) It's time again for another Truly Scrumptious challenge, this fortnight it's Summer Sparkle! We'd like to see summery images. flowers, butterflies etc of lots of sparkle, or both! Digi's with Attitude are sponsoring this challenge with a $10 gift voucher. They also gave the DT some images to use but I forgot - oops!
Here's my card, I stamped the background myself after being inspired by this weeks Waltzingmouse Sketch, I then added clear embossing powder over the sentiment, and a VersaMark pen to add sparkly embossing powder to the flowers in the background.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #57 & a DT call!

Good morning! Did you spot the title...? Truly Scrumptious is back!! Yey! Michele has very kindly offered to keep running the blog while Sharon has a blogging break. Unfortunately though, a couple of the DT have decided to step down which leaves us a little short, so...there's a Design Team Call on!! Just link up your entry on the blog and add DT after your name if you'd like to join us! To get us back into the swing of things there's a nice easy theme - Anything Goes! There's 4 digi images from Pink Gem Designs to be won too!
Here's my card, it's a little different to my usual, partly because it's huge! Well, A5! I thought it could work as one of those cards that gets passed around an office for everyone to sign! The text panel idea came from when I saw this sketch, I've had this stamp a little while (and a Christmas version) but it hasn't seen ink until now! I hope you like it, it's for these challenges -

Mmm - Ice Cream!

Afternoon! I hope you're having a lovely day and getting some of the sunshine we've got here! I've managed to squeeze in the time to make a quick card and thought I would share!

Clean & Simple - this sketch (although not that closely I now realise!)
Stamp with Fun - Birthday
Top Tip Tuesday - Open Theme
Spoonful of Sugar - Celebrate
Papertake - Spots and/or Stripes (mine's the dotty ribbon).
I've kept it fairly simple as the paper is quite busy but I highlighted a few of the ice creams with glitter or Glossy Accents. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Trick or Treating!

Afternoon all! I managed to squeeze a bit of time out of this weekend to make a card so I thought I'd better get on a show it! It's another combo card I'm afraid and the challenges are - Mo's Digi Challenge - which is this sketch (which I've flipped), Cat's Corner - Halloween (even though it's technically a dog, he's dressed as a cat!) and this weeks Stamp with Fun which is also Halloween. I loved colouring this image, it's so detailed, I prefer this to great expanses of space, I can never get that to look smooth. The background I did with a watercolour pencil and even though I wanted it to look slightly texture, this might have gone a bit far! Oh well! Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Image - 'Trick or Treat' by Mo's Digi Pencil
Colouring - Copics & watercolour pencils
Papers - Pink Petticoat 'Happy Haunting'
Sentiment - Paula Pascual
Other - Deckled edge scissors & Circle Nestabilities

Winter Wonderland #10 & Stamp with Fun #18!

Hiya! I've had a nice surprise today, I went to work as usual but as it's so quiet this time of year (I'm a hair-stylist and everyone seems to be on holidays) so my boss said I could go home! Woo hoo! Time to upload this card me thinks! It's another combo challenge card - there's too many to miss! It's for this weeks Winter Wonderland challenge which is, er, Winter Wonderland! There's an optional sketch too, which is fab but I've gone for this weeks Stamp with Fun sketch by my fab PB teamie Domi, although now I look at it, my card doesn't bear much resemblance! It's quite a sparkly card in real life but this dull light doesn't really show it! Oh well! I'm off to put my feet up now, thanks for dropping in!

Supplies-
Stamp - Magnolia 'Winter night background' and Penny Black 'Holly Jolly' set
Colouring - Copics, Sakura Stardust and 'Frosted Lace' Stickles
Papers & Sentiment - Dovecraft
Ribbon & gems - stash
Snowflake punch
Sentiment plate - Cuttlebug die

Challenge combo card!

I'm going to be a bit cheeky with this card and enter it into 3 challenges if that's ok! Firstly the Just Magnolia challenge which is this fab sketch by Naoual, I loved working with this one, and as I only have 2 Magnolias and both are Christmas ones, the sketches will be good to use! Secondly Stamp with Fun this week is Shabby/Vintage as I've done a bit of smudgy inking! I'm not sure if this qualifies, I don't mind if not! And last but not least is this weeks Colour Create is Sky Blue, Tan and Ecru, such a pretty colour scheme, I've managed their option too which is to add glitter, glaze or gloss, phew! I hope you like it!

Supplies-
Stamp - 'Edwins Snowman' by Magnolia coloured with Copics and Whispers & Crystal Stickles
Papers - 'Little Joys' by Zoe Pearn @ Shabby Shoppe, pearl glitter paper from Create & Craft
Brads - Doodlebug
Embossing - Cuttlebug folder
Snowflake - Quickutz die
Sentiment - Elzybells
