Making Spirits Bright

Hi! I'm back with this simple card, I'm not too sure about it but thought I'd share it anyway. I wanted to use up some patterned papers so I used this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch. Instead of a flower I used this little penguin, he's actually part of a little group of penguins but I masked around him to make him star of the show :-) I'm entering this into this weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge of Christmas (I'm over the moon - I won the last challenge and now have some spends for their lovely shop!! So exciting! Hee hee!) Also, it's for this weeks Merry Monday challenge of A Bird and the AAA Cards challenge of Blue Christmas. Thanks for looking, I hope you like it!

Supplies;
Paper - Echo Park Winter Wishes
Stamps - Stampavie Penguin Pile & Simon Says Stamp Lots of Stars
Cardstock - Stampin' Up Night of Navy
Sentiment - Paper Smooches Joyful Greetings
Other - white embossing powder, Copics & Silver Stickles

Two more Christmas cards!

Evening! This is going to be very quick, it's my bedtime and I'm knackered! Haha! I'll add all the links & details and hopefully take better piccys in the morning, but for now, here they are;
This first one is for this weeks Less is More One Layer Starry Night theme and CASology's Festive challenge. It's also my interpretation of Kristina Werner's Day 3 card in her Holiday Card Series.

And this one is using this weeks Just Add Ink colours theme of Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon, Very Vanilla & Gold. (I didn't have Lost Lagoon so I went with Bermuda Bay) And also this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch. Thanks for looking, I'll be back in the morning to fill in the gaps. Zzzzzz ;-)

Happy Birthday card!

Hiya! I'm back with a very quick card, I think I'm going to try and make more quick cards and post a bit more often instead of trying to complicate things! I'm killing time on maternity leave now so no excuses! I may even be back later but don't hold me to it! ;-)
I read on Saturday that one of my fave challenges is closing it's doors :-( so I'm joining in with Dynamic Duos last challenge - gorgeous colours too! Bye guys! I've also used this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch (simplified slightly) and the current Seize the Birthday challenge of Anything Goes.
I started this card wanting to use up patterned papers and used one whole sheet! That's not going to make much of a dent! ;-) I stamped this beautiful sentiment in Smoky Slate ink then stamped over it again with Versamark so I could add some clear glitter. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Supplies;
Sentiment - Mama Elephant 'Make a Wish'
Paper - My Minds Eye 'Cut & Paste - Adorbs'
Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'So Saffron'
Ink - Stampin' Up 'Smoky Slate'
Other - Nestabilities 'Classic Circles' & 'Scalloped Circles', silver stripe washi tape & clear gems

Swanky Snowdude!

Good morning all! I hope you had a lovely weekend! I'm sharing another card over on the My Mums Craft Shop blog and I'm also kicking off a new blog theme for the week, which is a free choice week.
I suddenly realised that I haven't made a single Christmas card this year when normally I've made loads by now! This had to be rectified so this card was born! :-)

I started off stamping this cute fella (complete with moustache and pipe - hee hee!) from Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in with Copics. He's cut out using a circle die (Die'Namics Circle Stax) and finished off with a swoosh of Stickles.
The background is made using the little snowflakes from the same snowman set in Stampin' Up Pool Party ink and just stamped randomly across the card blank. I stamped the two Pool Party banners too, one with My Favourite Things Darling Dots, and the other with a sentiment from Paper Smooches Christmas Sampler. Quick and simple to recreate and could be made in different colour ways to make a little set! Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Pink Snowflake!

Hello! I'm back with more Christmas makes. This is a pretty girly one! I quite like it but I'm not sure I should have embossed the white squares, what do you reckon? I'm pleased with how the snowflake came out; I punched it out of vellum the gave it a good coating of Spray'n'Sparkle, it gives a really subtle glitz! I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by

Blog inspired card!

Hello! Yey, I've been making cards again! I thought I'd never want to again at one point! But I've made a card for this weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge which is to use your blog header as inspiration. I'm lucky enough to have a Zoe Pearn blog header which aslo has matching digi papers so I just printed the ones that are in my header, used a ribbon and made a little gem scallop all to match. Then found a sentiment in a similar font, I really like it! Thanks for stopping in!
