4 card mega post!

Hi! Long time no blog :-) As the title suggests, this is a pretty photo heavy, mega post. I've still been participating in The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge over on my Instagram and over the weekend I sat down with some sketch challenges and turned some of them into cards. To keep it slightly shorter, I'll leave out all the supply lists but feel free to ask me if you want to know where something is from :-) Here goes...
This one is from Day 5 and uses the MFT colour challenge and the Fusion sketch -
This watercolour panel is from Day 6 and I've used The Challenge sketch -
This little cutie is from Day 13 and I've used The Paper Players sketch and the Friday Mash Up 'See Through' challenge with vellum to make my nieces birthday card -
And finally this card using my coloured image from Day 14 using the cupcakes theme from The Card Concept challenge and also 'Eggs or Ovals' theme from Just Add Ink. Thank you so much for looking if you made it this far :-)

I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by :-)

Hey Sugar!

Hi! Another blogging break, soz! Not much time for card making at the mo, I'm back at work and my little lady has just started crawling - fun times! ;-)
I'm back with a little romantic card I've made using the Simon Says Stamp 'Hey Sugar' set. I stamped and layered the cookies with different card stocks, embossed the matching toppings then covered with a layer of glossy accents. I sort of wish I hadn't done this last step as I'd sponged the cookies for a bit of dimension and I think I it made it run, hey ho! I also used these super old Basic Grey 'Bittersweet' papers, they're one of very few paper pads that I've almost used up - just a few scraps left! I've used this weeks Just Us Girls inspiration photo, the Paper Players sketch and I'm also going to enter into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge. Thanks for looking - if anyone is still out there reading this poor neglected blog! ;-)

Seasons Greetings

Evening! I'm back with my card in my own little challenge of CASEing Kristina Werner's 2014 Holiday Card Series, today is my card for Day 4. I used all the little images from the Simon Says Stamp Ugly Sweater stamp set along with the Appliqué set to make my embossed background then coloured parts in with a VersaMark pen and then a gold Wink of Stellar glitter pen. I've used this weeks Freshly Made sketch and combined it with this weeks Paper Players Tic Tac Toe challenge (I've used the top left to bottom right diagonal row; Trees, Embossing & Glitter - there's a few trees buried in there!). I'm also going to enter into Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge.
I'm back to work tomorrow after my maternity leave so I'm off to bed :-( Thanks for looking! Night!

Halloween Wishes

Hi! I hope you having a good week. I've whipped up a little Halloween card this week. I don't send them or even do anything for Halloween but I still like to make one or two! This stamp is actually a whole witch flying on a broom image but I only wanted something small so I did a bit of masking to just get the witches hat, and of course that needed some sparkle! ;-) The pattern strip is a portion of a background die which I cut a few times from different colours then randomly slotted together. It's for this weeks CASe this Sketch, Less is More Autumn colours theme and also this weeks Paper Players theme of Halloween. I hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Supplies;
Stamp - Penny Black 'Halloween Mimi'
Cardstock - Kraft, Stampin' Up 'Pumpkin Pie', 'Basic Black' & 'Smoky Slate'
Die - Hero Arts 'Triangle Background'
Sentiment - Dovecraft (old one)
Colouring - Copics & Wink of Stella 'clear'

Chocolate birthday card

Hi! I'm back with a card to show you which would be perfect for a chocoholic! ;-) I saw this weeks CASology Cue Card and this idea sprang into my head, also using this weeks Paper Players sketch. It's only after I made it that I realised it's not very 'CAS', sorry about that! I love this background though, it's made using the most gorgeous stamp and embossing powder. I wanted a really decadent feel :-) The 'chocolate bar' is made using 3 layers of card for the base, then 3 layers for each square. I thought it would give a chunkier look than just using foam pads for dimension, and I added the 'Enjoy' to look like it was embossed into the bar. Then the sentiment has a torn foil wrapper sort of look too! I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Supplies;
Background - Hero Arts 'Lotus Background'
Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Early Espresso' & 'Naturals White'
Sentiments - Avery Elle 'Thanks a Bunch'
Ink - VersaMark & Stampin' Up 'Early Espresso'
Die - Nestabilities 'Squares'
Other - Wow Embossing powder 'Rich Pale Gold'

Autumn birthday card

Hiya! I'm back to share a card I made last night and I'm so happy with it - pretty rare these days ;-) I really wanted to make an autumn theme card but am on a serious stash spending freeze so I got creative. I stamped this plaid background using this weeks Paper Players colour scheme and it was really fun! Plus it gave me a chance to bust out my gorgeous new Blackberry Bliss card & ink! I stamped the fox in Cajun Craze ink, which I also used to water colour the image. Then I stamped and cut apart the branch image to add as the two strips behind the image on this weeks Freshly Made sketch. This also works for the current Lawn Fawn challenge of Critters. Thanks for stopping by :-)

Inks - Stampin' Up 'Cajun Craze', 'Always Artichoke', 'Blackberry Bliss' & 'Baked Brown Sugar'
Stamps - Lawn Fawn 'Into the Woods'' Mama Elephant 'Basic borders' & Waltzing Mouse 'Off Beat backgrounds'
Sentiment - Papertrey Ink 'Framed Out #6'
Dies - Nestabilities 'Squares'

Thinking of You card

Hello! I'm back with a card I made yesterday for my lovely Auntie, her best friend sadly passed away :-( I wanted to make a card to say I was thinking of her. I struggle to make cards when there's a reason like this so I've used a few challenges for inspiration. She likes greens and natural type themes so that gave me a starting point. Then I've used this weeks Card Concept challenge photo and also The Paper Players sketch. I stamped the image twice, once in the lighter green and then again with a darker one but wiping off the edges before stamping to give the centre some depth. I hope you like it, thanks for visiting.

Supplies;
Stamp - Hero Arts 'Small Solid Flower'
Sentiment - WPlus9 'Fresh Cut Florals'
Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Lucky Limeade'
Ink - Stampin' Up 'Lucky Limeade' & 'Always Artichoke'
Other - wood veneer heart & jute twine
