I've had a free afternoon and I'm back with a challenge card - yey! I thought I'd cheer myself up on this grey day with a nice summery card and using my fave stamps and papers so I think it will qualify for this weeks Papertake challenge, which is to use your favourite things! Penny Black Saturday #57!

Morning all! Sorry I've not been blog hopping this week, work is so busy all I want to do when I get home is flop out on the couch! Hopefully I'll get time this weekend. This weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge is Swirls. And the prize is this cute Penny Black Frolic stamp from Simply Create, it's so cute! The DT cards this week are beautiful, I love swirly bits on cards and theirs are fab!

Here's my card using some gorgeous pearlescent and foiled swirly paper with this pretty stamp. I've embossed the image with white sparkle powder then painted in the gaps with Twinkling H2O's. The fuzzy image is an attempt to show you how glittery it is, hmmm! Still struggling with my mojo, hence the simple layout - nothing too taxing! I've left off a sentiment until I know what it's for. Truly Scrumptious Challenge #11!

Morning! As suspected, my mojo has left me! Also, I thought I had another week until the TS challenge so this was a mad scramble! This weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge is a great sketch by Sharon with the added theme of using Black, White & one other colour - skin and hair colours are allowed!

Here's my card, obviously using green as my other colour. I've used some of the gorgeous Summer Driggs papers, I love them! Thanks for dropping by, I hope you'll join in!

Sorry for the late Penny Black Saturday challenge post today, I've been mega busy at work this week and I'm off to a BBQ now so it'll be a short one from me!

Penny Black Saturday #55!

Hi again! Just to let you know, there's a new Penny Black Saturday challenge up today and it's a sketch by Nat. I couldn't make mine before I left for my holidays so I'll hopefully join in when I get back! Why not pop over and join in!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #10!

Wow, challenge 10! I know I say it all the time but the weeks are just flying!!
This fortnights Truly Scrumptious challenge is this fab sketch and the added challenge of 'Neglected Stash'! have a rummage and blow the dust off any stamps, papers or embellishments that you have. There is a prize up for grabs to anyone who joins in with the sketch and the theme (I'm still on my hols so I'm not sure what it is but I'm sure it's fab!) I've used this sweetie Pink Cat Studio stamp, I love it but often forget to use it! I can't really say the other bits and bobs are neglected though - more like over-used!!
