Summery Christmas card!

Hiya! Excuse the odd title but I've made a Christmas card today and I think it looks quite summery! I've had this Elzybells stamp for ages and never used it although since I've bought it I've had the idea to colour it black and turn it into a silhouette. When I saw what this weeks Winter Wonderland challenge was, I decided to give it a go! The background is just bands of colour with Copics with the buildings in various greys and blacks, then I covered the whole thing with a Versamark ink pad and sparkly embossing powder. I'm quite chuffed!
It's for these challenges-
Sketch and Stash Challenge - any sketch, I've chosen week 1(sort of - sorry it's not very accurate!) and I've used this neglected stamp
Winter Wonderland - Silhouette
Totally Gorjuss- Bling It On
Simon Says Stamp - Embossing
Paper Sundaes - Sparkle, pearls & yellow
Thanks for looking - I'll be back tomorrow with my Truly Scrumptious card. Have a lovely evening!
...very sparkly!
Supplies-
Image - from Elzybells
Colouring - Copics & sparkle embossing powder
Paper - Basic Grey 'Ambrosia'
Pearls - stash
Ribbon - Hobbycraft
Sentiment - made in the PC, printed onto Safmat film

Penny Black Saturday #143!

Good morning! I hope you've all had a lovely week! I'm back from my holiday at some point today so I'll fill the gaps in this post then! But for now, here's the details of this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge and my card!
This week the theme is Spring is Sprung! I love Spring, definitely my favourite season (not such a let down as summer and so much prettier than autumn and winter!)
I thought I'd make another Mothers Day card for this challenge - the 2nd of 3 I need to make - and I thought this stamp would go well as it's daffodils in the picture! Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely weekend!

Colouring - Copics
Papers - 'Nanas Nursery' by DCWV

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #19 & Copic Colour Challenge #37!

*********Scroll down for my Copic Colour Challenge card!*********

Hi again! It's my fortnightly double challenge post! The first one is this fortnights Truly Scrumptious sketch with the added challenge of a Recipe - 3 flowers, 3 brads & 3 pearls/gems. It's such a great sketch to use too as it can be flipped all different ways. Here's my card using this adorable Lili of the Valley stamp (which I pre-ordered months ago because I just had to have it and have only just got around to using!) The little Poinsettias were made using the EK Success Daisy punch, one medium in green, 2 medium in red and one small in white then a little pearl brad to hold them all together. There's a fabby prize this week and the DT cards are all stunning so make sure you pop over and join us! I'm also going to enter this into this weeks Winter Wonderland challenge which is an Open Theme - easy enough!

And onto my Copic Colour Challenge card! There's such a pretty colour selection this week and I actually had all the required Copics! So I had to go for a nice, delicate stamp. I'm not sure of the name of this one, my PB teamie Nat stamped it out for me. I've shown a picture of it closed to so you can see the colour behind the border punch, and hopefully in the other picture you can see the where I've added some Sakura Stardust to the water. I'm also used this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch, although I've moved the sentiment about!
Well done if you've reached the end of this post!! I hope you like them and can join in the challenges!

Friday Sketchers #50!

I've finally managed to join in with a challenge, I checked through my posts and the last time was 20th March!!
This card is for this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge. I've also been asked to do some samples by Denice at Design House Papercraft along with my TS teamies, so of course I said yes! My little package came the other day and this is the first card I've made with it! This little lady is Daisy from the Dragons at Home range. It's quite nice having a play with some decoupage as it's not normally something I'd do! It was such a nice sketch too, I love using DL cards but always seem to go for square! I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #2!

Wow!! There was a huge response to our first challenge - thanks so much to everyone who entered, there were some amazing cards! This fortnights Truly Scrumptious challenge is slightly different - still a sketch but this time you have to use handmade buttons! This can be either fabric, shrink plastic, chipboard, fimo or anything you think of! We have a great sponsor this week, Chris from Sketching Stamper and she very kindly let the DT play with some of her images! One lucky enrty will win 8 of her fab digi images! This little lady is Vicky! I loved the Manga style to her so I thought I'd make her look a little bit quirky with her white sparkly hair! For the buttons, I used various punches and nestabilites to cut out felt shapes, I then punched in some eyelets and threaded a bit of ribbon - et voila! I hope you'll like it and you'll join in with us again!

Supplies-
Image - 'Vicky' from Sketching Stamper coloured with Copics and Sakura Stardust
Papers - Dasiy Bucket (front and back of one sheet)
Buttons - handmade with Heart shape and Flower shape Woodware punches and small circle Nestabilities onto felt
