Runway Inspired!

Hello! Today I have another card to share. I have a list of all the challenges I like printed out and on my desk and write each weeks theme in pencil then erase it when it's either finished or I've made a card for it. When it's a photo challenge, I write down the first 3 things I notice in the picture. This fortnights Runway Inspired challenge photo caught my attention and I wrote lime green & black, black lace & black bands. It reminded my of some gorgeous glitter acetate I've been hoarding got, so I dug it out for this card :-) The birthday die cut is covered in Wink of Stellar glitter then inlaid into the black strip, it doesn't really show up too well though. I'm also going to enter this into this weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge and Seize the Birthday challenge, both of which are Flowers. Wow I've rambled in this post! Haha! Thanks for hanging in there! :-D

Cute little Space Man!

Hello! Me again! Jamie's in Holland this weekend with work so I'm having a crafty one! I hope to get ahead with some DT cards but I'll probably end up just joining in all the fab challenges out there! And here's the first example! I've made a card using this months Die-ing for a Challenge sketch. I used the fabulous Chevron Die-Namics and stuck them to some double sided sticky paper leaving a little gap between two of them and spinkled in some glitter. The idea for that came from the current Runway Inspired challenge. I hope you like it!
