On Day 1 I coloured in some pretty Hero Arts butterflies using Derwent Studio pencils in loads of different colours. These aren't like most pencils where you blend them to get a smooth look, these are meant to be a bit sketchy and textured looking, and I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I didn't know how I was going to use them on a card but then it saw this weeks ShowCase challenge of rainbow colours and decided to use them all on one card. And as if by magic, this weeks Freshly Made Sketch had room for them all! ;-) I also think this will fit this weeks Simon Says Stamp Girly challenge.

What a beautiful card! I love butterflies and I think you did a fantastic job with colouring! I have Derwent colouring pencils and I will most definitely be trying them more out! :) Thank you for the inspiration!
