This week, and indeed year, we thought we'd try out a new challenge; for the first Saturday of every month we'll be asking you to CASE one of our teamies fave cards, and, as 'B' is near the beginning, my card is first! Here's the card I've chosen from back in July 2010;
This week we have the lovely Ribbon Girl as our sponsor with this bundle of lovely ribbon-ness-
and this pretty stamp from Penny Black -
And here's my card! I didn't want to just make an exact copy but one of my fave things about this card was the layout so I decided to flip it over and make a bit more of a manly card but kept the doodling, elements and the sentiment the same. I also chopped off a bit of the stamp so it fitted on this card layout. It's a new years resolution to use up more of my scraps and although this used mostly new papers(!) the brown paper was at least scraps! I've had a bit of a re-jig of my craft space today and chucked out an obscene amount of packaging from embossing folder etc and made loads more room! I can't believe I was holding onto it! But at least it's all sorted now, and there's also space for my scraps so hopefully they'll be easier to use up! I keep meaning to give a little tour of my mini craft room so that might be coming up soon!
