Dottie's World Sketch challenge!

I couldn't join in last weeks recipe challenge as I don't have any embossing things or a Cuttlebug....yet! :) So I was looking forward to this weeks, and I'm so glad, it's a sketch challenge, I love them! Although I've changed this a wee bit. I've used the Magic Princess Dottie, some pink glitter card, a 'princess' sticker and lots of Stickles and doodles! The cute crown brad is from Poppicrafts. Thanks for stopping by!

Dottie's World #2: Double Up!

"The Challenge is to make a card or item incorperating two images from the downloads,it could be two Dotties,Dottie'n' George,Cats, there are soo many different combinations to choose from."
I've gone for the Dress Up cheerleader Dottie and the football George to make a kind of sporty good luck card. I've kept this quite simple, I coloured them with Whispers, added a sentiment from the PC, then a bit of doodling and 2 football brads from Poppicrafts. Hope you like it!

Cute Card Thursday #10

I can't believe it's week 10 already! This weeks theme is Vacation or Travel, so I thought I would use this cute Hawaiian Dottie image from the Dress Up range. I coloured her with Whispers (not very well!) and used some DCWV Pocket Full of Posies paper. Then paper-pricked a border, added some gems and a flower! Hope you're having a nice weekend!

2 New Challenges!!

Ooh, I love a new challenge and there are 3 this week! On this card I have combined 2 of them. The Dottie's World challenge which is Paper Piecing using one of the Dottie or George images and the Friday Sketchers challenge.

I have used the Dottie 'Virgo' image and removed the wording to make her more generic, and paper pieced her with Pink Petticoat Daisy Daisy paper. The other part of the Dottie challenge is to use the same paper for the background too, and that fitted well with the sketch. The ribbon was from Little Silver Hat and the blue and green card stock came from the mountain of card I received from Sandy's blog candy prize, I need never buy card again!! I hope you're having a nice weekend!

George!

Hi all, I hope you're having a nice monday! I've been playing with these cute George images from here, he's so cute! They're all coloured with Whispers pens.

The first one I used Pink Petticoat harlequin paper then doodled some lines to make it more golf-jumpery! Then added 3 brads and the stamp is from Pink Cat Studio.

The paper on this one is from my 'Tag...' prize and the same stamp as before.

And this one is using paper and a sentiment from Pink Petticoat and some matte silver brads with glossy accents on the fish

(close up of the fishy!)

I'm still not sure if I've got the size right, I just printed quarter size! I hope you like them!
