Christmas Tag card & Part 1 of 2 Bodge Ups!

Hello! Yey it's friday!! We're off to my sister in laws for the night to see my little nieces and in-laws. We're getting an indian takeaway and lots of wine so should be fun! I'm back with a quick post for a not so quick card - ages of shuffling things around! But it's done, I hope you like it!

And now for Part 1 of 2 bodges ups! I've said before I'm pretty clumsy when it comes to...well...most things! ;-) So I thought I'd show some attempts at cards I've done. This one I was so pleased with right up until the end. I've never used Mica powders before but I won some a few years ago and since taking the Online Card class I dug them back out. I thought I'd join in with the LIM challenge with these butterflies, it looked all lovely until I sprayed a fixative - in big splodges!! Arrgghh! It totally blurred all the detail on the butterflies and put weird speckly blobs all over the card! :-( Oh well, I sort of still like it so I'm going to enter it anyway and hope I'm not thrown out! ;-)
Have a great weekend, I'll add the supply details when I'm back tomorrow.

Challenges;

Golly... if this is the butterflies without the detail, I'd love to see them with it! (Yes, I know, inside... but this is what I'm learning about CAS cardmakers - perfectionism rules!!)
I think this is beautiful regardless... gorgeous, haunting images on that astonishing indigo.
