Sweet Sugar Challenge #7

Yey, Sweet Sugar Challenges are back! And this time with a chance to be on the design team, I would love that job!! The task this fortnight is to create something other than a card, using Sugar Nellie stamps. I've used the Lola with Gift stamp, matted onto silver mirror card and some glitter card then watercoloured with Whispers, to alter this box. The paper is Doodlebug and the ribbon, button and flowers were all from my stash. Then I used Stickles on her scarf, pockets and hem for a bit of Christmassy glitz. I hope you like it!

Sweet Sugar #6 & My Paper World #8

Hi! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! Here is my card for this fortnights Sweet Sugar Nellies challenge which is to use cardstock only and no patterned paper, trickier than it sounds! I have also based this on Nicolas Paper World sketch. I've used the Dress Up Maggie stamp, coloured with Whispers pens, then added some co-ordinating flowers, a scalloped border and some faux stitching for a shabby look. Thanks for looking!

Ismaki 14 & Sweet Sugar part 2!

Here is the second part to the Sweet Sugar challenge, to make two boys/mens cards and I've combined it with this weeks Ismaki sketch. I've used my new Skater Boy stamp (he's so cute!) watercoloured with Whispers pens, and a silver gel pen for his belt chain and skateboard axis. Then added some DCWV papers, stars made with a punch, handmade some numbers and stapled on some blue pearlescent strips (which I fluffed up a bit!!). Plus a peel off! : )

Sweet Sugar challenge 5

"Challenge 5 is to make TWO (yes two!!!) cards for those very hard people in our lives - men and boys! So get your creative thinking caps on and make two male themed cards."

I've only made one so far as I'm waiting on a new addition to my Sugar Nellie family! But for now I've made one using a stamped image from Nikki's blog candy prize, coloured with watercolour pencils. The stripy paper is from a Dovecraft stack. The red skull and crossbones paper and the sentiment, I made on the computer. Thanks for stopping by!

Sugar Nellies challenge #3

This is the first Sweet Sugar Nellies challenge I've joined in with. The theme for this fortnight is to use Black, White & Pink, so here it is. I've coloured the stamped image in watercolour pencils, used some Pink petticoat paper and added 3 black brads. Thanks for looking! xx
