Anniversary card

Hi! I hope you're having a good weekend! Jamie is under strict instructions not to look on my blog - I doubt that is a great hardship ;-) as here is his anniversary card. I got the idea from this weeks CASology challenge of Date (although I think I may have lots the CAS look) and made a little officey style card with a calendar marked with our anniversary, a little staple holding the layers together and a typewriter font for the greeting. The paper and calendar are both Simple Stories and the sentiment is Winnie and Walter. I've used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch along with this weeks Colour Throwdown challenge. Sparkly congrats card

Morning! Taking a brief break from making Christmas cards to show this Congrats card I made using the gorgeous colour scheme at Colour Throwdown this week; Gold, Silver, Brown & White. I combined it with a flipped version of this weeks CASe this Sketch using die cut sequins for the embellishments, and also this weeks Papertrey Make it Monday Glittered Frames challenge (I need to get some thinner tape to try this again, I'm not sure I like how chunky it looks). Lily birthday card

Hello! I hope you're having a good weekend! I'm back after a little break with a birthday card I've made for my step mum-in-law. I used the MFT Lilies die and coloured it with Copics. I originally left the background blank but it looked a bit plain so I stamped a background in VersaMark ink. The lilies are perfect for sympathy cards but I didn't want to this to look like one so I followed this weeks bright colour combo from Colour Throwdown. I also took inspiration from this weeks Cutting Edge challenge card and I'm entering it to Seize the Birthday's Anything Goes challenge too. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Hiya! Me again! I was browsing the new challenges today and this weeks Colour Throwdown palette jumped out at me, I love these colours! I used the Paper Players sketch and this card came together really quickly! I'm also entering it into this weeks Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge. I combined papers from a couple of different pads plus I've gone old school with these EK Success flower punches - they were barely off my desk at one point but I haven't used them in yonks! Fancy Pants!

Hello! What a lovely day! I'm sat here with all the windows open - such a welcome change from having the heating on!! I'm back with another card. I bought the Fancy Pants Trendsetter pad last month and I absolutely love it but love it in the kind of way where I don't want to cut into it! But when I saw it was the inspiration for this week Colour Throwdown challenge, I thought I'd get stuck in!
