Hello! I hope you're all enjoying this grey Monday! I don't work Mondays so I'm loving it! I've just come back from buying my bridesmaid dresses actually! It's so exciting!Anyway, on to my card! I've had a go at the lovely Jacqui's sketch for this weeks Whiff of Joy challenge, except I had to make the oval into a square and move the flowers around a bit, but I loved it all the same! I've used my cute new monkey stamp too! I experimented with a technique I learnt on a Copics blog, colouring an area grey and then using another colour over the top to create a darker tone, to let you see how it worked, I used the same browns for the monkey as the branch but with grey over the branch first - good idea huh?! Thanks for dropping in!

That's interesting about coloring with grey first - the tree & monkey look like completely different colors. If I ever get my hands on some Copics I'll have to try that! Please drop by my blog if you get a chance :)
