DCM Extra & SSC: Hey Baby!

For this card I've combined the DCM Extra sketch with Scummy Stash Cafe's Hey Baby challenge. I've used my Big Sister stamp again, this time watercoloured with Whispers pens. I cut the circle with a shape cutter then cut a larger one out with scalloped scissors (I've asked for a Cuttlebug for my birthday so I can get some Nestabilities!) The letters are Pink Petticoat Simple monograms and the ribbon, brads (which I glittered) and papers are all 'use-ups' again!

My Time 2 Craft #12

This weeks challenge is babies, what a good excuse to use my new stamp! I've used the Sugar Nellie 'Big Sister' stamp coloured with watercolur pencils and edged with faux stitching. A Pink Petticoat sentiment, and scraps of DCWV paper. The buttons were from Nikki and the sketch is from my blog candy competition - still time to join in!

Ismaki #17

Another 'use-up' card for this weeks Ismaki! I'm not sure where the image is from, I think it's Penny Black, and I coloured it with Whispers, and the paper, butterflies and ribbon were in my box, hope you like it!

My Paper World #9

I'm in a 'using up' mood today and found this paper in my box, I'm not sure where it's from, I think it may have come with a magazine. Anyway, I've used it with a Pink Petticoat Purrfect image and a couple of flowers with contrasting brads, to enter for this fortnights Paper World sketch. Thanks for looking!

Tag - You're it #4

"For this week's challenge ~ Picture Slides! Somewhere on your tag you must feature a picture slide ... it can be hand made, die cut or even a bona fide one! Keep it plain or decorate it how you wish"

On this tag I've used Pink Petticoat spotty paper, Mindy's Zoo stamps, I cut the photo slide shape out of chipboard and covered it with pink shiny paper and Stickles, hope you like it!

George!

Hi all, I hope you're having a nice monday! I've been playing with these cute George images from here, he's so cute! They're all coloured with Whispers pens.

The first one I used Pink Petticoat harlequin paper then doodled some lines to make it more golf-jumpery! Then added 3 brads and the stamp is from Pink Cat Studio.

The paper on this one is from my 'Tag...' prize and the same stamp as before.

And this one is using paper and a sentiment from Pink Petticoat and some matte silver brads with glossy accents on the fish

(close up of the fishy!)

I'm still not sure if I've got the size right, I just printed quarter size! I hope you like them!

Fab's Christmas Challenge!

I don't know what's wrong with me, it's April (albeit a chilly one!) and I've just made 4 christmas cards! I must be feeling festive! I've made them for Fab's April challenge to make 4 cards by May 24th.

This one is using all Pink Petticoat lovelies, a Lola stamp (watercolured with Whispers), Doodleicious paper and a sentiment

I've used a fab Whipper Snapper stamp for this one with a bit of watercolouring and Stickles. The backing paper is Doodlebug and some spotty ribbon (I think it was from Little Silver Hat)

The next two use a Stampendous Max the Mouse stamp, he's soooo cute! They're only small simple cards, this one uses Papermania paper and a few peel-offs (sorry if you hate them, I know some people do! :) )..........

and on this one I used DCWV paper, more peel-offs, ribbon and some gems

Thanks for looking!

DCM: Most Distressing!

"Hi it's Keryn here and it's my turn to Distress you all, or at least your cards with this weeks dare. You can make a card for any season, any holiday, any occasion but you need to use either a fingernail, curled edges, sandpaper, tearing, anything you like really as long as looks like it's had a fair bit or wear and tear."

I really enjoyed this challenge as it's so different to my other stuff. But I'm not very good when it comes to distressing things, I either smudge ink over the middle of what I'm doing or tear the image in half, ha ha! But I was very careful with this one and went for pre-distressed Basic Grey papers and just a bit of tearing and edge-inking! I used my Lola and Bird Sugar Nellie stamp watercoloured with Whispers pens, a really old Best Wishes stamp and some little pearls. I hope you're having a nice weekend!

Cute Card Thursday #7

"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! As we had male cards last week, this week we would like you to make a card with a female theme."

A nice and easy one for me as that's all I seem to make! I've used a Penny Black stamp from an image swap (although now I want the real stamp!) watercoloured with Whispers pens. Then some Prima Hybrid paper, some flower buttons, a Pink Petticoat sentiment and a little bit of white ribbon. Ta ta for now!
