4 card mega post!

Hi! Long time no blog :-) As the title suggests, this is a pretty photo heavy, mega post. I've still been participating in The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge over on my Instagram and over the weekend I sat down with some sketch challenges and turned some of them into cards. To keep it slightly shorter, I'll leave out all the supply lists but feel free to ask me if you want to know where something is from :-) Here goes...
This one is from Day 5 and uses the MFT colour challenge and the Fusion sketch -
This watercolour panel is from Day 6 and I've used The Challenge sketch -
This little cutie is from Day 13 and I've used The Paper Players sketch and the Friday Mash Up 'See Through' challenge with vellum to make my nieces birthday card -
And finally this card using my coloured image from Day 14 using the cupcakes theme from The Card Concept challenge and also 'Eggs or Ovals' theme from Just Add Ink. Thank you so much for looking if you made it this far :-)

SSS February 2015 Card Kit #2

Evening all! I'm back with another card from the card kit - and I've managed to squeeze in a couple more today too so I'll be back with more - having a kit definitely seems to be a mojo booster for me :-)
This one is a bit of a masculine style valentines card, and it's a shaker too! I've used cardstock, papers & sentiment stamp from the kit and added in some Freckled Fawn wood veneer hearts and twinkly twine.
I've used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch, Virginias View 'Shaker Card' challenge, Just Us Girls 'Love' theme and also the current Card Concept photo, I've used the love theme plus woodgrain.
Thanks for looking!

Supplies;
Papers, cardstock & sentiment stamp - Simon Says Stamp February card kit
Wood veneer shapes - Freckled Fawn
Ink - Stampin' Up 'Early Espresso'
Die - X-Cut 'Nested Hearts'
Other - acetate & twine

Snowman gift tag

Hello and happy weekend! I hope you've had a good week! I found a bit of time this morning to make this simple little gift tag using this weeks MFT Sketch. All the dies are Die-namics. As I had stamped the snowman's eyes, mouth and buttons, I wanted to stamp his carrot nose but didn't have anything suitable, so I cut out the carrot die from some scrap paper and sponged it on - problem solved! :-) I've used this weeks Fab Friday colour scheme, this weeks Simon Says Stamp Christmas challenge and also this fortnights Card Concept challenge of Snowman and/or a Tag. I hope you like it, have a good weekend!

Supplies;
Dies - MFT Tag Stax, Notched Tag (heart), Fishtail Flag Stax & Snow Globe and Nestabilities Circles
Cardstock - Stampin' Up Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake & Old Olive
Stamps - Hero Arts Tiny Star Background, Simon Says Stamp Lots of Dots & Waltzingmouse Nordic Winter
Other - Christmas Red Stickles, red twine

Thinking of You card

Hello! I'm back with a card I made yesterday for my lovely Auntie, her best friend sadly passed away :-( I wanted to make a card to say I was thinking of her. I struggle to make cards when there's a reason like this so I've used a few challenges for inspiration. She likes greens and natural type themes so that gave me a starting point. Then I've used this weeks Card Concept challenge photo and also The Paper Players sketch. I stamped the image twice, once in the lighter green and then again with a darker one but wiping off the edges before stamping to give the centre some depth. I hope you like it, thanks for visiting.

Supplies;
Stamp - Hero Arts 'Small Solid Flower'
Sentiment - WPlus9 'Fresh Cut Florals'
Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Lucky Limeade'
Ink - Stampin' Up 'Lucky Limeade' & 'Always Artichoke'
Other - wood veneer heart & jute twine

Purple flowers

Good morning! Wow it's dismal out there today! Still no baby here so I've been making more cards :-) This one is for this weeks Muse challenge card by Vicki, I used her fab card as a sketch for mine, and I used the Monochromatic Purple theme from this weeks Card Concept challenge. Mine falls into the Clean & Layered category I think. I'll slip it into this weeks Spring Flowers challenge at Simon Says Stamp too. I used an old Kaisercraft pad for the paper, it's the only one I can think of that I own that has a lot of purple in it. Then I used this Mama Elephant Water Blooms set stamped repeatedly in various purple inks and cut around each of the flowers. I went over the leaves in Vesramark so I could emboss with a little silver too. I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by!

Supplies;
Stamps - Mama Elephant 'Water Blooms'
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted 'Spring Flowers'
Inks - Stampin' Up 'Wisteria Wonder', 'Perfect Plum' & 'Elegant Eggplant'
Die - Mama Elephant 'Dainty Bow'
Paper - Kaisercraft 'Lilac Avenue'
Other - clear gems, silver mirror card & silver embossing powder

Butterfly Birthday Wishes!

Hello! I hope you're having a good weekend so far! I'm back to show this card I made last night for this weeks My Favourite Things Sketch and The Card Concept challenge of a Butterfly theme. I think I've gone with the Clean & Layered style again - it always seems to be what I like making most, lots of lovely patterned papers but not too fussy! :-) The butterfly is clear embossed so it's nice and shiny. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Supplies;
Papers - Basic Grey 'Fresh Cut'
Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Island Indigo'
Stamp - My Favourite Things 'Inspred by Butterflies'
Dies - My Favourite Things 'Inspred by Butterflies' & 'Sentiment Strips', circle & square Nestabilities
Sentiment - Personal Impressions 'Wording Stamps'
Ink - VersaColour 'Camelia'
Other -clear embossing powder, black gel pen & black gems

Floral birthday

Me again! I've got a card to share for 3 challenges. Firstly this weeks The Card Concept challenge. It's the first time I've joined in this challenge but I think my card is a Clean & Layered style? I could be wrong! It's also for this weeks Paper Players sketch and Simon Says Stamp which is Glitter It. I took the colours and flowers from the inspiration photo along with the woodgrain in the background, coloured the middle of the flowers for a bit more definition then added glitter to the centres. Thanks for stopping in, if my evening goes to plan I'll be back tomorrow for the Papertrey Blog Hop!

Supplies;
Dies - MFT 'Plentiful Petals' & 'Traditional Tag Stax' & Memory Box 'Heart Chain border'
Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Pear Pizzazz', 'Strawberry Slush' & 'Coastal Cabana' & Simon Says Stamp 'Woodgrain'
Ink - Stampin' Up 'Strawberry Slush' & 'Coastal Cabana'
Sentiment - Simon Says Stamp 'Birthday Balloons'
Other - white twine, clear glitter & Copics
