Birthday Butterfly!

Hi all! I'm typing this quietly as I may have overdone the vino with friends last night! Oops! ;-) But here's a card I made yesterday using the beautiful Isabelline papers from Pink Petticoat, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love grey and yellow together! Our lounge is soft grey and cream with lilac accents but I'm trying to persuade Jamie to change the lilac to yellow - maybe this card will help my cause! Hello! Super-duper quick post from me as I'm dashing out for work now. I've made a very simple little christmas card. There's foiling on this fab paper so I wanted to show it off by using some shiny tag die cuts to looks like baubles. I hope you like it, thanks for popping in!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #82 - the last one!!

Morning peeps! Cripes, how is it wednesday already?! Love it though! I'm back today with another Truly Scrumptious challenge, and, as the title suggests, it's our very last one! :-( Thanks so much to Michele for running it for us and to everyone who has entered in the last 3 and a half years! Pennk Black Saturday Challenge #196!

Hello! I hope this finds you well! There's a brand new Penny Black Saturday challenge up and this week it's another CASE It challenge! This time it's Helens turn and she's chosen this beautiful card of hers;

Here's my card, I loved Helens card so I didn't change too much but I left out the sanded embossing as I always manage to cover myself in dust and I was wearing my fave jeans! Haha! I'm such a girl!! So I used these lovely woodgrain and leaf Pink Petticoat papers. I also stamped a bit differently to Helen, I just inked up the areas in each colour and stamped down, it was easy as the inkpads are small. I also used my actual sewing machine! I love the effect but the hassle of getting it out alwyas puts me off, I've found a place for it now so hopefully I'll use it more! Thanks for looking, and Happy Easter!

Morning! I hope you're all well! Today is a little bit exciting as my brother (also called Jamie) is finally moving out of home! He's 27 and we thought he should have gone ages ago but money is a factor and when it's either going to festivals, gigs and holidays or save some cash, the former wins every time! Bless him! But now he's met a lovely girl, Emma, and they're moving into a rented flat today! My mum is going to miss him loads but he's only 2 mins drive away and she won't miss his messy room! We're going to help them in a bit but first I had to make their card! I decided on this cute Pink Petticoat image and some bright but neutral colours. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Evening all! I hope your week is going well so far! We've just had new banisters and spindles delivered, it's all go around here..! But I've had time to whip up this card, it's very quick and simple but hopefully you'll like it! As it is quite plain, I decided to print to Pink Petticoat papers (in turquoise) onto pearlescent paper, not much white but I like it all the same! :) Thanks for looking!

Hello! I'm back again this morning to show you a little baby card I've made. I've made it a bit of a mission to use up more of my scraps and I thought this sketch was perfect for that. I've gone for another clean and simple style card to show off the cute image. Penny Black Saturday #174!

Hello! I hope this finds you well! It's time again for the Penny Black Saturday challenge! Thanks for all your fab On The Move entries! This week is another great theme, Too Cute to Spook! Penny Black do loads of fabulous Halloween images to hopefully it shouldn't be a tricky one! Plus, this week there's a sweet little Halloween Hedgie stamp up for grabs!
This theme gave me a great excuse to (buy) and use these gorgeous little Mimi stamps! My little niece Lulu is having a Halloween party for her little friends on Friday so I thought I'd make this card for her, and as she's only 2 I didn't want it to be too scary so this little fancy dress Mimi is perfect I thought!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge #171!

Good morning! Another week has been and gone and it's time for another Penny Black Saturday challenge! Thanks for all the entries into last weeks Monochromatic challenge - gorgeous cards! This weeks theme is Down on the Farm! Penny Black have zillions of stamps featuring cow, pigs, chickens etc so hopefully it won't be too tricky a challenge! This week we have 2 prizes; a festive stamp from Penny Black Inc and a gorgeous ribbon bundle from The Ribbon Girl!
I've decided to go festive with my card as I don't think I've used this stamp before but I think it's really cute! It's with some digi papers and some seam binding which I love but I haven't matched the colours very well! :-P I hope you like it, have a fab weekend!

Hello! Sorry this is later than planned but I've had a manic week and only got time to sit down and make a card today! But it's a card for this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge, this weeks theme is to use a Monochromatic colour scheme, and I think pretty much all of the DT have used different colours!
