CAS(E) this Sketch & Fusion challenge

Afternoon! I hope you're having a good weekend! I've had a little card making time this morning and made this card. I really like this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch sketch so I really wanted to join in, and I also love this weeks Fusion challenge colour scheme - it's sort of modern retro looking - love it. I really liked the vase of flowers in the photo too so I made one with some Clearly Besotted goodies, the new stamp set Simple Silhouettes, which I stamped in a cluster and fussy cut. Then I used the vase die from Flower Arrangement cut out 6 times, layered up and given a coat of glossy accents for a nice shiny look. I think white enamel accents would have been better but I don't have any - yet ;-) I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

'Ink - Stampin' Up 'Pumpkin Pie'
Sentiment - Winnie & Walter 'The Big, The Bold & The Happy'

Penny Black Saturday #73!

Hi again! This is scheduled as I'm probably feeling pretty ropey right now as I'm on my Hen do in Brighton, I know my wedding is a way off but I'm now allowed holiday in december! Anyway! Here's my card for this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge which is White on white, everything should be white apart from your Penny Black image! The prize this week is a 15% discount vouncher for PB Stamps! Here's my card using a LOT of Glamour Dust - it's everywhere! As the card was quite simple, I thought I would decoupage the image up a little bit and add some Glossy Accents to their little boots! I hope you like it and can join us this week!

Stamp - 'Hand Mailed' by Penny Black
Embossing - 'Snowflakes' Cuttlebug folders

Friday Sketchers #55!

Morning! Here's my card for this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge, it's a fab sketch by Jacque. Since I've started selling my cards, I've been asked for more mens designs so here we go! I love these Murray and Ethel stamps and I think you'll be seeing a lot more of them! I've used more of the fab PP Big Fella paper and I've also decorated the inside again, I don't know why I didn't sooner - I'm always left with loads of scraps that never get used up! I've coloured with my Copics and used some Glossy Accents on his glasses, golf clubs and watch. I hope you like it! Happy Sunday!

Papers - Pink Petticoat 'Big Fella' & checked paper from DCWV Nanas Nursery 'Boys'

Whiff of Joy #15!

Crikey, can it be true? I've completed a challenge on the day it was set?! The Whiff of Joy challenge is one of Katharina's infamous sketches! I didn't want this card to be too girly or cute so I went for this cool champagne stamp, I think it will come in handy for loads of occasions, and I didn't add too much glitter. Again, there's a little bit of Safmat! I've put in an (albeit blurry!) close up to show the sparkling champagne and the shiny ice-cubes! Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Stamp - 'Champagne Cooler' by Whiff of Joy, coloured with Whispers, Sakura Stardust and Glossy Accents
Papers - Pink Petticoat 'Old Fashioned Girl'
Border - Martha Stewart Doily punch
Sentiment - made on the PC and printed onto Safmat film
Ribbon - from a jumper!
Corners - Cosmo Cricket QVC set
Eyelet - Doodlebug
I can't seem to get settled with a blog background so I had a tinker today and made this pink and brown one. The link to the papers are at the bottom of the page, maybe I'll stick to this one!

Tilda & Friends: New Year, New Stuff!

Another challenge I'm pretty late with! The theme on Tilda & Friends is to use either your crafting Christmas prezzies or something you've recently bought for yourself. I've decided to give my new 'Nellie another airing. I thought with a black bob she has a sort of continental sassiness about her, so I added some black lace and a saucy sentiment! I also gave her a lovely pair of shiny boots with glossy accents and on the heart too! Thanks for looking, I hope you like it! Oh by the way, you can use any cute stamps for the challenge now so there's no excuse not to give it a go! xx

Supplies-
Stamp - 'Luvvie' by Sugar Nellie coloured with Copics and a white gel pen
Paper - Papermania Christmas pad from ages ago!
Lace - Cuddly Buddly
Rub-ons - American Crafts
Paper roses - Mad About Cards

2 Sketches 4 You #13 - Bonus Sketch

I can safely put this card up now without Jamie seeing it (although I'm pretty sure he never looks!) It was our anniversary yesterday, 9 years!! And here's the card I made for him. I was looking around some of the past sketch challenges for some inspiration and I found this sketch, it just so happens it's for this week too, so I can enter it! The 'Love' was in a download from eBay but I can't find it now to say who from, then I covered it with Glossy Accents. Jamie thought it was a bought embellishment - hee hee! Then I used some scraps of Pink Petticoat paper with some inking and stitching. Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Sentiment - download, with Glossy Accents
Papers - Pink Petticoat
Gems - Mad About Cards

Ismaki #30!

Ooh, 2 cards in one day! Here's my card for this weeks Ismaki sketch which is to use a swivelling element. The option is Christmas which I decided not to go with! I've used one of the Kaboodle Doodles downloads called Picnic, it's so cute! I've put in some close ups to show the inside and the cupcake with a shiny cherry on top! I hope you like it!

Supplies-
Image and papers - Kaboodle Doodles Picnic download
Cherry - Glossy Accents
Gems - form stash
Glitter - Frosted Lace Stickles
I've just popped over to the Kaboodle Doodles blog and there's a challenge for cards featuring spots/dots! So I'm putting this towards that too!

Tilda & Friends: Open theme

As I've never bought any of the Magnolia stamps, I've never joined in with their challenges, but this week they've let 'friends' join in! Any other stamp is fine as long as it has a cute round face, such as the Maggie Sugar Nellie stamps (see the blog on the sidebar for more details) I'm so glad as I love making ATCs but never seem to. I think this ATC is very fitting to the 'summer' we've just had! I've added some glossy raindrops to finish it off. Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Stamp - 'Splashing Maggie' from Sugar Nellie coloured with water colour pencils and Sakura Stardust
Paper - Sizzix stack
Raindrops - Glossy Accents
Edged with VersaColor Ink
