Hi! How has the weekend gone already?! It was lovely though, roast chicken for lunch, now all eaten and cleared away and we're about to settle down to a film. I hope you've had a nice sunday!
I made this card yesterday for this weeks Less is More challenge. I got this Stampin' Up Piercing set as a freebie in this springs Stamp-a-faire, I don't have the dies that lots of them match to though, so I pierced the patterned then sketched around it on the back and cut it out, it didn't go too badly! Ok, final Valentine's card!

Morning! I hope everyone enjoyed stuffing their little tummies with pancakes yesterday! I most certainly did! ;-)
As the title suggests, I've finally decided on a Valentine's card for my husband! One was too pink, one was too sparkly, but in 3 bears fashion, this one is just right! :-) Although I'm thinking of doodling an 'I' on the little heart to read 'Valentine I Love You', thoughts?

Evening all! I hope you've had a lovely week so far! Just one more day until the weekend - I am sooo ready! I clear sign of how ready I am is that I've bought 2 tickets for me and my mum to go to this years Make It Show in Farnborough and was fretting about how we were meant to be going tomorrow and the tickets hadn't arrived yet! She kindly reminded me that its on the 1st-3rd of March, not Feb! Doh! ;-)
I'd better get to bed! Here's my card though, it's for this week Muse challenge card by Suzanne. I loved everything about it, especially the bright colours so I decided to CASE the layout with the popped up flowers, layered borders, rounded corners and bold black sentiment. I added a bit of 'me' with the doodled border. I hope you like it, thanks for popping by!

Hello! This is going to be quite quick as I need to go and scrape the ice off my car, grr! Here's a card I've made for this weeks CASe Sketch, as soon as I saw the little diamond pattern I thought of this flower stamp, I'm not really sure why but I sort of think the 3 flowers and the leaf/stalk make up the shape! Hopefully! I stamped and water-coloured the flowers with Stampin' Up Early Espresso ink, I thought it added to the sepia sort of look. Thanks for looking, have a lovely day!

Pink Snowflake!

Hello! I'm back with more Christmas makes. This is a pretty girly one! I quite like it but I'm not sure I should have embossed the white squares, what do you reckon? I'm pleased with how the snowflake came out; I punched it out of vellum the gave it a good coating of Spray'n'Sparkle, it gives a really subtle glitz! I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by

I'm back!

Hiya! Well that was a slightly longer gap between posts than I planned! Thanks if you've come back to visit me! I've had a really busy few weeks going to see Olympic events and celebrating the big 3-0!! Then we had 2 weeks off which has left me with no crafty mojo at all! I thought I'd drag myself out of it though and make a card for this months I {heart} 2 Stamp - SFYTT as I've managed to keep up with every month this year so far and didn't want to ruin it, so here I am. I thought I'd do what I've done before when I've had no mojo and dig out some of my favourite stash and just play, and here is the result! I hope you like it! I'll take a better picture in the morning, now I'm going to crack on with my Penny Black Saturday card, I'm guessing it'll be late!

Papertrey Stamp-a-faire: Make & Take!

Evening all! Or morning to be exact! I know it's a late one but I really wanted to join in with the Papertrey Stamp-a-faire! There's so many different challenges going on! I though I'd wait til tomorrow and have a whole day of it while Jamie is at work but this first challenge closes in a few hours. It's a Opening Make & Take, Nichole has made a gorgeous card and it's just a re-make, I like this kind of challenge to get me into the swing - no brain power required! I don't have the Natural Beauties stamp set (yet!) so I've used Rosie Posie & Harvest Berries. I also don't have any of the papers or inks; I'm new to PTI - I'll get there! ;-) So I've just used colours I like that are similar! Thanks for looking! I'll be back tomorrow to join in some more!

And now for Part 1 of 2 bodges ups! I've said before I'm pretty clumsy when it comes to...well...most things! ;-) So I thought I'd show some attempts at cards I've done. This one I was so pleased with right up until the end. I've never used Mica powders before but I won some a few years ago and since taking the Online Card class I dug them back out. I thought I'd join in with the LIM challenge with these butterflies, it looked all lovely until I sprayed a fixative - in big splodges!! Arrgghh! It totally blurred all the detail on the butterflies and put weird speckly blobs all over the card! :-( Oh well, I sort of still like it so I'm going to enter it anyway and hope I'm not thrown out! ;-)
