4 card mega post!

Hi! Long time no blog :-) As the title suggests, this is a pretty photo heavy, mega post. I've still been participating in The Daily Marker 30 Day colouring challenge over on my Instagram and over the weekend I sat down with some sketch challenges and turned some of them into cards. To keep it slightly shorter, I'll leave out all the supply lists but feel free to ask me if you want to know where something is from :-) Here goes...
This one is from Day 5 and uses the MFT colour challenge and the Fusion sketch -
This watercolour panel is from Day 6 and I've used The Challenge sketch -
This little cutie is from Day 13 and I've used The Paper Players sketch and the Friday Mash Up 'See Through' challenge with vellum to make my nieces birthday card -
And finally this card using my coloured image from Day 14 using the cupcakes theme from The Card Concept challenge and also 'Eggs or Ovals' theme from Just Add Ink. Thank you so much for looking if you made it this far :-)

Mothers Day Daffodils & Tulips

Hi again! I'm back to share this card I've made using this weeks Less is More challenge. It's a colour scheme of Yellow & Green - perfect for spring flowers :-) I've used some Clearly Besotted stamps & dies to make this little panel of daffs & tulips. To start off with I was just playing around with these stamps - I think I would have masked a bit more carefully from the start if I'd thought about it - oops ;-) I've loosely based it on this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch but I moved the sentiment a bit. Thanks for stopping in! xx

Supplies;
Stamps & dies - Clearly Besotted 'Spring Blooms'
Ink - Stampin' Up 'Daffodil Delight', 'Crushed Curry', 'So Saffron', 'Pear Pizzazz' & 'Garden Green'

Pencil colouring & butterflies

Hiya! I hope your Sunday is suitably lovely :-) If you follow my Instagram you'll see that I'm joining in with Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day colouring challenge. Basically to set aside a bit of time each day to colour something in. I'm failing already as I missed Day 4 yesterday but I'll be doing some soon :-)
On Day 1 I coloured in some pretty Hero Arts butterflies using Derwent Studio pencils in loads of different colours. These aren't like most pencils where you blend them to get a smooth look, these are meant to be a bit sketchy and textured looking, and I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I didn't know how I was going to use them on a card but then it saw this weeks ShowCase challenge of rainbow colours and decided to use them all on one card. And as if by magic, this weeks Freshly Made Sketch had room for them all! ;-) I also think this will fit this weeks Simon Says Stamp Girly challenge.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like it!
Supplies;
Ink - Versafine 'Smoky Grey'
Paper - October Afternoon 'Sidewalks'
Colouring - Derwent Studio pencils
Stamps - Hero Arts 'Antique Flowers & Butterflies'
Dies - Memory Box 'Classic Scallop' & Hero Arts 'Antique Flowers & Butterflies'
Sentiment - Simon Says Stamp 'Handwritten Sayings'

Simon Says Stamp March 2015 card kit #1 & #2

Hello! I'm here to share a couple of quick and simple cards I've made with this months Simon Says Stamp card kit, I love the colours included in this kit and both cards use just the supplies provided. First up is a card inspired by this weeks Muse challenge card. I love the mix of patterned papers and thought it would be a good showcase for these ones too.

Then this card is using this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch. I've left a strip of the black card base showing as I thought it grounded the whole thing and the black Liquid Pearls act as the 3 little banner elements. I used the stamps from the set on to one of the Journalling cards. I hope you like them, hopefully I'll get a chance to squeeze in some more soon :-) Have a lovely weekend!

Supplies;

Stamps, papers, cardstock & Liquid Pearls - Simon Says Stamp 'March 2015 Card Kit'

Ink - Stampin' Up 'Crushed Curry' & VersaFine 'Onyx Black' & 'Smoky Grey'

Watercolour masking

Hiya! Quick post from me as I have a poorly little lady with me :-( Here's a card I started a few weeks ago and have only just got around to finishing. It's using this tutorial from Kristina Werner using masking fluid to draw a circle, then splotch in Distress Inks and water so they blend together. Then, once everything was dry and I had rubbed away the masking fluid, I used the same colours of ink and flicked little splatters over the top along with water and some white misting ink. Once that was dry I stamped and embossed what I think is my fave sentiment stamp ever, over the top, and matted everything to a purple card base.

I'm going to enter this into these challenges; Addicted to CAS Distress, AAA Challenges Watercolour Rain, Viginia's View Embossing and Sieze the Birthday Anything goes option. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Supplies;

Ink - Distress Inks 'Seedless Preserves', 'Chipped Sapphire' & 'Peacock Feathers'

Sentiment - Mama Elephant 'Make a Wish'

Other - white embossing powder, watercolour masking fluid & Studio Calico white spray mist

Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Blackberry Bliss'

CAS card for a Girl

Hiya! I'm back to share this little card for the new CAS on Sunday challenge of a Girls card using this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch. I think my version of CAS might be a bit different from everyone else's - my white space in teeny pink polka dots! ;-) But hopefully the cleaness is still visible. I'm also going to add this to the Seize the Birthday Anything goes challenge. I hope you like it, thanks for looking and I'll be back very soon with more :-)

Supplies;

Papers - Doodlebug 'Sugar Shoppe' & 'Sweet Cakes'

Dies - MFT 'Party Balloons', 'Bracket Edge Duo' (for the balloon string) & 'Accent It - Celebrate'

Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Daffodil Delight' & 'Bermuda Bay'

Other - clear Wink of Stellar
