Happy New Home

Morning! I'm back to share this card I've made for my friend who has just bought her first house. I used this weeks Less is More colour scheme, the current Wanna Sketch as well as this fortnights Addicted to CAS challenge of Dots. I used this pretty spotty paper as my starting point and paper pieced the house along with some Pool Party cardstock. I wanted the sentiment to look like smoke from the little chimney so I drew some wiggly lines to stamp my letters along (it's with a mini wooden alphabet set and heavy reliance on my Stamp-a-ma-jig! Haha!) For the little smoke swirls I masked off the flourishes in the Papertrey Sending a big Thank You stamp, then added some gems. I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by! Christmas jumper cards!!

Hi! Excuse the blogging break, just been super busy with making 90 wedding invitations and being a mummy - all good stuff! :-) I'm back to share these cards with this Christmas jumper stamp set from Stimson Says Stamp - I love these stamps!! Totally up my street! I'm planning on using up a lot of my christmas patterned paper stash with these, and these are the first 2 of many!

The first one is using this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch along with this weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge of Kraft card and the current Merry Monday challenge of Non traditional colours. I thought the blue & gold from this Bo Bunny pad was an interesting option.

The second is also for the Simon Says Stamp and Merry Monday challenges but this one is using the current Wanna Sketch? sketch. I hope you like them! Thanks for looking!

Christmas Flowers!

Hello! I hope you're enjoying the start of a long weekend (if you're in the UK). I'm back again today with another card. There's a few floral challenges about, one of which is a Christmas one so I thought I'd break out this Poinsettia die I haven't used in a while. I inked up the veins of the petals using the die itself and the matching ink to the cardstock. There's also some gold mist on the cream panel, hopefully it shows in the photo. I've used this weeks Merry Monday theme of Flowers along with this weeks Wanna Sketch? and Just Add Inks Colour theme challenge. I'm also going to enter in the current CASology challenge and Paper Players challenges, both of which are Flower/s. Phew, that's a lot of challenges! I hope you like it though, thanks for visiting!
