Penny Black Saturday #203!

Evening all! What a scorchio weekend!! I hope you've enjoyed it wherever you are! It is to blame for the lateness of my card I'm afraid, who wants to sit in a north facing craft room when there's rays to be soaked up and ice cold cider to drink! ;-)
But I'm here now with my card for this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge. We have a bit of sad news this week, on top of saying goodbye to Kelly who has been our fabulous May Guest Designer, we're also saying goodbye to our lovely Liz who has decided to step down and enjoy other things, and we wish her well! I'll still be blog stalking her though so it'll be like she's never left! ;-)
Onto the challenge, this weeks theme is Monochrome Magic! We'd like to see your cards etc in shades of just one colour. And you'll be entered into a draw to win 4 rolls of lovely Bakers Twine - love that stuff - from Fantastic Ribbons!
I've gone with a pretty magenta colour scheme. I tried out a new technique (new to me anyway) with 3 different Versacolor ink pads in pinky/purple shades and inked over the stamp fairly randomly. I think it makes a nice watercolour effect! Then added a bit of glitter. I thought the white back panel would be a bit plain so I used the same stamp, inked with Versamark the embossed with clear glittery embossing powder, I hope you like it!
