A-May-Zing CD Launch! Sneak Peeks Day 5 - Launch Day!

Hello! I hope you're having a good week and have been enjoying my Sneak Peek posts! It's launch day of the collaboration between Crafters Companion and Nigel May! He's designed a new craft CD called All Kinds of Everything and you'll be able to see the launch tonight at 9pm on Create & Craft!

To make it a bit more exciting, all of the comments received this week on my Sneak Peak posts have been entered into a draw to win a signed piccy of Nigel! The winner of mine is....

Well done! Pop me an email (beth82hi at aol dot com) and I'll arrange to get it out to you!

Today I'm showing you the whole project I've been working on! It's a gift set of 12 cards, for all occasions so the recipient is armed with a card for almost any event that may arise in a year. I wanted the cards to be all the same size, all fairly simple and all to be quite flat. That's because I've made a folder for them to go in! And here it is! Warning: There is a lot of photos! (If you'd like to see the past posts for this launch and all the cards I've made, you'll find them HERE)

In this pic you can see I've used one of the image toppers and some gorgeous backing paper all printed onto Centura Pearl card. I die-cut some letters and flowers to decorate it. I wanted it to be quite flat so it could be maybe stored on a shelf...

...and if it was, you'd need to see what was in it so I've added die-cut letters and gems to the spine too.

I thought it would be nice to see who made it! So I shrunk down one of the inserts, added my name and used it as a plaque for the back.

Here you can see what the front and back look like folded out.

I've used some seam binding to tie it all together and some of the paper beads from the CD threaded on. They're dead easy to make, just roll up and stick, then I covered them with glossy accents to harden them and give some shine.

And here is the inside! I loved making this!! Took a bit of maths skill to get it right though! I've put one of the borders from the CD down the inside of the spine for a little finishing touch.

I thought it would be cute to add some handy pockets so I cut more letters and made one for notes...

...and one for stamps!

And here is all is together! Phew!

Well done if you've made it to the end! I've not added any product lists so if there's anything you'd like to know, give me a shout! Thanks for looking, I hope you like it!
Here's some challenges I'm entering this into;
The Shabby Tea Room - This photo (pink, aqua, neutrals & flowers) -->
Crafting for all Seasons - Anything but a Card
Little Red Wagon - Pockets
Divas by Design - Anything but a Card
