Hello! I hope you all are well! This is my fortnightly double challenge post so it's a long one! Firstly is my card for this fortnights Truly Scrumptious which is a sketch by the lovely Debbie and she's given us a fab extra challenge to include a Sparkle flourish. I've used this beautiful Flower Fairies stamp, I saw the show on Create & Craft and wanted the whole set, I've loved them since I was tiny! But I used my head instead of my heart and thought I would get most use out of the Christmas one! The flourish was made using one of the Bazill templates I got from Quixotic Paperie, I love it and you're sure to see a few more cards with this on! I hope you can join us for this fab sketch!

Now for my Copic Colour Challenge card, and it's my turn to choose the colours! I'm not quite sure why I picked autumnal colours when I struggle with these colours but this Greeting Farm digi stamp came to the rescue - she's beautiful! I've covered her in a wash of Sakura Stardust to give her a magical shimmer! (zoom in for a better look!) Then a few gems and swirly bits and I'm done! I have to say I'm quite pleased with how both of these came out! I've got a feeling it's because I've moved my craft stuff into the lounge on the dining table, I don't feel like I'm cooped away by myself and I've been able to spend a bit longer on my cards - who knows how long it'll last! Hiya! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are having a nice (if soggy) monday! I've been busy making a collection of quick Christmas cards using these cute 'Ice Christmas' stamps from Pink Petticoat, I've made 7 so far and have 5 more to go to finish the set. They're so easy to colour and I've been using up lots of paper scraps. Here's the first which I used this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch on, there's always a good sketch to be found here! Morning everyone! Thanks for all the gorgeous entries into last weeks Lyrics theme - there were some fabulous cards and I was singing along to them! This weeks Penny Black Saturday theme should come in quite handy, Christmas for the Guys! I can't quite believe I've made a Christmas card with no glitter or gems! :-) I thought I'd go for a very manly blue and grey theme, the Doodlebug paper was my inspiration for that, and I paper pieced the snowman onto a grey sky - much more British don't you think?!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #20 & Copic Colour Challenge #39!

Back again! It went so quickly but was really fun! Now for todays challenges....firstly this fortnights Truly Scrumptious challenge, a fabulous and unusual sketch by Dawn with the extra challenge of 'Texture'. I've gone for a funky Christmas style card using one of the new Pink Petticoat 'Gem trees'. My added texture is the gems on the tree, Twinklets glitter at the base and a stripe of it along the card and two stripes of black chunky glitter plus some fluffy fibre ribbon stuff! I've shown a close up of the glittery bits. I hope you can join us! This also qualifies for this weeks
Papertake challenge which is to use something Digi and some sparkle!

And now for my Copic Colour Challenge card. This week the colours are bright! I also have a little confession, it wasn't til now that I read the colours again and realised I got last weeks challenge (which I missed because I was poorly) mixed up with this weeks and used B02 insted of G05 - whoops!! Luckliy there is a little bit of green in there so I should get away with it! I've used one of Mo's Digi Pencil freebie images - this one is so cute and comes with a few little accessories! I've added some sparkle to the water to give it a shimmery look but it doesn't really show (why do we bother?!!)

Hi all! I'm back into the land of blogging! I had a BRILLIANT Hen Do last weekend - thoroughly spoilt, but exhausted afterwards and ended up getting a nasty cold which put me out of action for a couple of days - hence the lack of a card for this weeks Copic Colour Challenge and why this card is so late! It's for this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge, a fabulous theme in my opinion of Song title/lyrics! The DT have gone all Christmas Carol-y which is so fun! I pulled put this image though and thought 'Just the two of us' by Bill Withers (or Will Smith depending how old you are!!) would fit the bill!
We also have a very special addition to our little team this week, we are joined by the amazingly talented Debby!! Yey! I love everything she does and really struggle to comment on her cards, trying to think of something more interesting other than 'WOWZERS!!!' every time! And she's with us for the whole of November too!

Hi again! This is scheduled as I'm probably feeling pretty ropey right now as I'm on my Hen do in Brighton, I know my wedding is a way off but I'm now allowed holiday in december! Anyway! Here's my card for this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge which is White on white, everything should be white apart from your Penny Black image! Hi again! It's my fortnightly double challenge post! The first one is this fortnights Truly Scrumptious sketch with the added challenge of a Recipe - 3 flowers, 3 brads & 3 pearls/gems. It's such a great sketch to use too as it can be flipped all different ways. Here's my card using this adorable Lili of the Valley stamp (which I pre-ordered months ago because I just had to have it and have only just got around to using!) The little Poinsettias were made using the EK Success Daisy punch, one medium in green, 2 medium in red and one small in white then a little pearl brad to hold them all together. There's a fabby prize this week and the DT cards are all stunning so make sure you pop over and join us! I'm also going to enter this into this weeks Winter Wonderland challenge which is an Open Theme - easy enough!

And onto my Copic Colour Challenge card! There's such a pretty colour selection this week and I actually had all the required Copics! So I had to go for a nice, delicate stamp. I'm not sure of the name of this one, my PB teamie Nat stamped it out for me. I've shown a picture of it closed to so you can see the colour behind the border punch, and hopefully in the other picture you can see the where I've added some Sakura Stardust to the water. I'm also used this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch, although I've moved the sentiment about!

Morning! I hope you all are well! It's time for another Truly Scrumptious challenge and it's a fantastic sketch from Mina with the extra challenge of Autumn! There's a lovely set of stamps up from grabs from Stamp Attack, to win, you need to play along with the sketch and use the added theme!
I know I said the other day that I struggle with autumnal cards so I just tried to keep it simple today and use some autumny colours! This is the card I made for her - she's called Lucy by the way! I used another of the fabulous freebies from Mo's Digital Pencil, I have bought some but the freebies are so gorgeous too! The second is for the first of Mo's Digital Challenges! This week it's "Perple!" I loved colouring the cat on my last card in a Siamese style so I thought I'd do it again for this gorgeous image - a freebie from Mo's blog! Thanks Mo! Copic Colour Challenge #34!

Hiya! I'm so glad to be posting a new card as I'm not that happy with the last one I made - I seem to struggle with autumnal themes so it's good for me that this weeks Copic Colour Challenge doesn't have to be! It's quite an unusual selection of colours and I thought it worked well for one of Mo's Digi stamps - I just love this one! I didn't have quite the right red for this challenge but I just used the nearest thing! I made the sentiment on my PC in a Serif program (fancy!) and there's a little bit of glitter around the frame, if it doesn't show! I hope you like it and can join in! We'd love to see you there!

This is a mega quick post as I should be getting ready for work but here's my card for this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge which is 'Autumn Breeze', the DT have made a stunning selection of cards - all infinitely better than mine - I was in a bit of a rush - surprise, surprise!! And the lovely Carole is sponsoring this challenge by giving away this cute PB stamp - 'Hand Mailed'! Here's my card using this 'Christmas' stamp! I thought I would give it a makeover and I'm clearly not alone on this idea!! I've teamed it with a sprinkle of glitter and some freebie papers! I hope you like it! Thanks for looking!

Hello again! Firstly thanks to all the lovely bloggers who have left me comment recently! I have been so busy and haven't had the time to reciprocate but hopefully I will soon!
Onto this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge which is a fab sketch by Sharon with the added challenge of Doodling! (You'll have to look really close for my doodling......there's some little silver dots around the swirly bits!) Chris - Sketching Stamper is sponsoring this challenge and gave to DT some gorgeous images to use - we obviously all have a favourite as quite a few of use have chosen this beautiful Butterfly Fairy! Thanks Chris! I've re-jigged the sketch slightly and put the little horizontal element the other way to make it fit, and I'll add a sentiment when I know what I'll use it for!

And onto my Copic Colour Challenge card! Another fab selection of colours (and I actually have them all!) I've used this sweet little Pink Cat Studio digi stamp but I've now sure if it's still available, I was obviously in a 'fairy' mood when I made these! The little Toadstool charm was from Stacey! I've Glamour Dust-ed her wings for a bit of glitz and used these papers which I've just taken out of my box and looked at every so often! I hope you like them and get a chance to join in!

Hiya! Ooh, it's time for my first Copic Colour Challenge DT card! How exciting! It's a lovely selection of colours this week too! Hi again! I hope you've all had a nice weekend! I've done absolutely nothing and loved it! Although I did make this card! It's for the Cat's Corner which is to make a card with an Autumn theme and of course feature a cat, I hope Halloween counts as autumn! It's also for this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch which I've flipped to fit this stamp on. I've used this cute Witches cat from Alota stamps and some of the funky Pink Petticoat Happy Haunting papers which I managed to nab last year before they disappeared! I've tried the technique where the image goes over the edge of the Nestie, except don't have the oval Nesties so I used my Fiskars template! Thanks for looking!
