Penny Black Saturday #79!

Morning all! Thanks for all the gorgeous entries into last weeks challenge - I think you're all sorted for the girls cards now! There's an equally fab challenge for this weeks Penny Black Saturday, it's Red & Gold - time to get traditional (if you want to go Christmassy that is!) 1-2-3 Stitch are offering one lucky person a $20 voucher for their store! Here's my card using one of the new Slapstick stamps - I'm so glad they've started doing these and hopefully the range will grow! I thought this was good for all the more traditional cards, this would looks fab in sepia tones I think! The gold and red swirly card is from some Christmas crackers I rescued from the bin a few years ago - I knew they would come in handy! I hope you can join us - have a great weekend!
Supplies-
Stamp - 'Antique Santa' Slapstick stamp by Penny Black
Colouring - Copics and 'Frosted Lace' Stickles
Papers & ribbon - stash
Corners - Cuttlebug die
Sentiment - part of a PaperMania stamp

Helloooo! I hope all you lovely bloggers are well! I'm fine, just busy but I won't bore you with all the details! Here's my card for this weeks sketch over on the Truly Scrumptious challenge blog - it's our last one for 2009! Crikey, where has it gone?! The added challenge to go with this sketch it to use Vellum, I love this stuff and really should use it more often. I've punched the bottom of mine and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder, then layered it over this gorgeous Pink petticoat paper - nice and frosty don't you think?! As this is our last challenge before Christmas, you have until 5pm on the 5th of Jan to enter this challenge, and one lucky person will win a great pair of Whimsy stamps! I hope you can join us!

Stamp - 'let it Snow Snowmen' by Whipper Snapper
Colouring - Copics and 'Frosted Lace' Stickles
Papers - Vellum from stash & Pink Petticoat 'Snowflakes' in 'Pansy'
Embossing - 'Snowflakes' Cuttlebug folder

The papers are a combo of Pink Petticoat and a DCWV stack from last year, and the border punch was my Makro bargain - I didn't even know they did craft stuff!! I hope you can join either - of both - of these challenges! Thanks for looking!

Copic Colour Challenge #42 & Mojo Monday #115!

Hiya! Good grief this is a late card! I've been so busy with work, wedding stuff, more work!! Sorry to my DT pals too but this is for this weeks Copic Colour Challenge with another fabulous colour selection! It reminded me of summer so I've made this beachy style card using this cute little guy from High Hopes! I've given him a wash of Sakura Stardust for a shimmery feel, I also thought the little Dew Drops looks like water bubbles and the papers reminded me of seaweed - job done! I made up the sentiment too, sorry if you think it's lame! Ha ha! I've used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch! Thanks for looking!

Papers - Pearlesent from stash & MME 'Bloom & Grow'
Embossing - Cuttlebug 'Tiny Bubbles' folder
