Hello again! Firstly thanks to all the lovely bloggers who have left me comment recently! I have been so busy and haven't had the time to reciprocate but hopefully I will soon!
Onto this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge which is a fab sketch by Sharon with the added challenge of Doodling! (You'll have to look really close for my doodling......there's some little silver dots around the swirly bits!) Chris - Sketching Stamper is sponsoring this challenge and gave to DT some gorgeous images to use - we obviously all have a favourite as quite a few of use have chosen this beautiful Butterfly Fairy! Thanks Chris! I've re-jigged the sketch slightly and put the little horizontal element the other way to make it fit, and I'll add a sentiment when I know what I'll use it for!

Friday Sketchers #70 & Cat's Corner #9!

Hi again! I hope you've all had a nice weekend! I've done absolutely nothing and loved it! Although I did make this card! It's for the Cat's Corner which is to make a card with an Autumn theme and of course feature a cat, I hope Halloween counts as autumn! It's also for this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch which I've flipped to fit this stamp on. I've used this cute Witches cat from Alota stamps and some of the funky Pink Petticoat Happy Haunting papers which I managed to nab last year before they disappeared! I've tried the technique where the image goes over the edge of the Nestie, except don't have the oval Nesties so I used my Fiskars template! Thanks for looking!

Stamp - 'Cat on Broom' by Alota Stamps
Colouring - Copics
Papers - Pink Petticoat 'Happy Haunting' & Bazill Bling 'Black Tie'

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #16!

Hello my lovelies! It's time for another Truly Scrumptious challenge! This fortnight is a fab sketch by my teamie Heather with the added challenge of using no fewer than 3 stamps! I struggled a little with this challenge (why they call them challenges though huh?!) Some ideas can be stamping your own background/borders, masking your image and making a background or giving a character a friend or accessory! The choice is yours!
The 3 I've used are the new Hero Arts Snowflake Circle background, some little holly corners and of course, the cute little Forever Friends bear! I've embossed the background with a sparkle powder but these things never seem to show in photos! I hope you like it and get a chance to join us!

Supplies-
Stamps - Forever Friends, Hero Arts 'Snowflake Circle' & Elzybells 'Holly'
Colouring - Copics & a white gel pen
Papers - Core'dinations & DCWV old Christmas stack
Ribbon & gems - stash
Sentiment - Pebbles Inc rub-on

Penny Black Saturday #66!

Morning all! Thanks so much for all the gorgeous Hearts cards last week, I was definitely feeling the love!
This week on Penny Black Saturday challenge is a sketch by the lovely Domi and it's a circle one - scary! I'm not too happy with my card to be honest, it's quite small, I used the largest Nestability die and the stamp is fine, and I decoupaged her skirt, but I didn't want to crowd it with embellishments and it's ended up looking a bit basic! Anyway, the DT cards are gorgeous so I guess you'll have to look to them for inspriation! Hee hee!
I hope you're having a fab weekend wherever you are! Thanks for dropping in!
Supplies-
Stamp - from the '12 days of Christmas' clear Penny Black set
Colouring - Copics & 'Cotton Candy' Stickles
Papers - Paper Mania (thanks Stacey!)
Pearls - Kaisercraft
Flowers - EK Success punch
Ribbon - stash
Border - Fiskars 'Seagull' scissors
Circles - Nestabilities

Just for a laugh....!

I saw a link to this post on the lovely Rach's blog and thought I would give you all a laugh!! It asks you to show what your desktop looks like - messy or otherwise, well here is mine, more of a 'floor-top'! Hee hee! I still love it! You might need to click on the photo's to see but I've 'tagged' them so you know what's going on and that it's not just a heap on the floor - there is some organisation believe it or not! I've also shown you the cupboard space this takes up - who needs shoes?!! We're hoping to move after the wedding, so who knows? I could have a swanky craft room to show you!

This can mean hearts on you project, for a loved one or just a smooshy, lovey-dovey card! There's a cute little watercolour palette from Horseshoe Crafts to be won!
Here's my lovey-dovey card, I thought the little bunnies on this part of the stamp look pretty into each other (most rabbits are though I guess...!) Coupled with some gorge Pink Petticoat papers and that's my card! I hope you're having a fab Saturday whatever you're up to!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #15!

Morning! The weeks are going too quickly and it's Truly Scrumptious challenge 15 already! That means it's 30 weeks since we started and only 16 weeks to Christmas! Aggghhh!! Well this week, as well as a fab sketch by Michelle, we're asking you to hold on to the summer a little longer and create a card or project with an 'Indian Summer' theme, interpret as you like! Home Impressions have the cutest stamp set up for grabs, just make sure you follow the sketch and the theme!
Here's my card, I think it's fairly obvious how I used this theme, and I loved making this card! I've used some papers from my neglected Artylicious CD Rom, I love these papers! And a Sandra Dry 'Bollywood' image. I didn't put a sentiment on, I'll decide another time! It's hard to tell but I've coloured little accents on her dress and jewellery with a gold pen, it's probably drowned out by all the gold mirror card!
I hope you can join in, thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Image - 'Sarika' by Sandra Dry Digi Stamps
Colouring - Copics & a gold gel pen
Papers - Artylicious 'Damask Delights'
Flowers - EK Success punch
Gems & ribbon - stash
Embossing - 'Textile' Cuttlebug folder
Corners - Cuttlebug die
