Just Magnolia #20 & Papertake: Sketch #22!

Hiya! What a grey day! I actually quite like them though as I don't feel guilty holed up making cards! One of which is this card for the Papertake challenge, another of Dawny's great sketches, and I've combined it with this weeks Just Magnolia challenge which is to use Ribbons & Bows. I've used more of the scrummy MME paper and this Magnolia snowman. The little snowflake punch was a bargain, £2 from my local craft shop! Penny Black Saturday #64!

It's Saturday which means it's time for another Penny Black Saturday challenge! This week we're asking you to get festive and make a Christmas card or project! PB Stamps are giving away this funky snowman stamp but you've got to be in it to win it! The DT cards are so gorgeous as always! Here's my card, I have to confess I pinched this layout from this lovely gal's blog! (Hee hee! ; ) Thanks Stacey!) I love these papers and just got around to cutting them up (I have loads of gorgeous 12x12 papers and no-one will ever know as I'm such a wuss!) I've also given Flower Soft a go and I quite like it! It's on his hat if it doesn't show in the photo!

Anyone for Anya? #1 & Sketch Saturday #65!

Morning all! Not in such a rush this morning - makes a change! Here's my card for the very first Anyone for Anya challenge (how could I not join in?) The first challenge is 'Sugar & Spice', anything girly, I've got flowers, pearls, shopping and pink - fairly girly I reckon! I've combined it with this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge. I enjoyed making this card and was pleased that my tiny range of Copics managed to match these papers! I've been practising my hair colouring too and have a little selection of dismembered Anya heads with different coloured hair! Weird?! Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely prezzies!

Morning! This is just a quick post to show you the lovely goodies I got for my birthday! I'll just show you the crafty prezzies as I know that's what you'll be interested in, rather than, for example, my new cherry print wellies - love them! Hee hee!
Anyway, firstly, my sweetie Jamie got me these (with a little nudge in the right direction!) Now I just have to practice and get the hang of them!

Then I got this little package from my lovely Truly Scrumptious 'boss' Sharon, thank you! I love this card and your colouring is beautiful!

Last but not least, this arrived from the very talented Stacey, I commented on these papers saying how gorgeous they were and now I have my own to play with! Thanks so much!

Penny Black Saturday #63!

This is going to be a quickie from me, I'm scheduling this at about 1:30 and I'm supposed to be up early tomorrow for my friends wedding but I've been celebrating my birthday with my parents, a yummy Chinese and a few Pinot Grigios so the sooner I get to bed, the better!

Hi again! This being off work malarkey is great, lots of cards getting made! Truly Scrumptious Challenge #14!

Hi everyone! I can't really believe it but it's meant to be the hottest day of the year - and I'm off work - can it be true??!

Anyway, it's time for this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge and it's a little different today, we'd like to see Anything but a card - the possibilities are endless! Sandra Dry Digi Stamps is offering one lucky entry a choice of 6 of her gorgeous digi stamps! I've made some little Christmas sweetie boxes to hang on the tree, decorated with some little die cuts - I thought it would make a nice (but brief) change from stamping! Sugar Bowl #16!

Evening all! Just a little post to show you this card. I love the The Sugar Bowl sketches but never seem to be organised enough to join in in time! Not this week (only just made it though!) This fortnight is a sketch by Marlene with the added challenge of Doodling - I love a good doodle!
