Papertake: Dawny's Sketch #3!

I got such good news today - I won Debbie's amazing Blog Candy! I'm so excited - I'm actually going to own Copics! She has warned they are addictive though! Hee hee!
Here's my card for this weeks Papertake challenge, the 3rd of Dawny's great sketches. I'm still in Christmas mode so I made one using my cute reindeer stamp. I paper-pieced his body and feet so I could get it the same colour as the background (mocha by the way!) I didn't add the bottom strip as his legs are so spindly anyway, I didn't want to cover them up!! I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Stamp - Reindeer from Stamps Away, paper pieced with 'mocha' Pink Petticoat paper
Sentiment - Dovecraft mini clear set
Papers - Pink Petticoat printed half size

Tilda & Friends: Time to Decorate!

It's all getting very festive this week on the Tilda & Friends ATC challenge, it's time for Christmas decorations! We're putting ours up on the 7th this year, but usually take them down on new years day as by then we are so fed up of Poppy climbing the tree and knocking off all the decorations! I decided to use the top half of this Alota stamp for my ATC, the glitter doesn't show up too well (when does it ever?), and the foil paper photographs rubbish too! Even so, I hope you like it!

Supplies-
Stamp - 'Bugs Decorating Tree' from Alota stamps coloured with Whispers, Sakura Stardust and Stickles
Papers - stash
Gems - Create & Craft
Snowflake punch
Also I thought I'd show you my new toy! I've wanted a sewing machine for ever but was put off paying over £100 for something I'll just use for fixing hems or making cards, and then I saw this red beauty in the John Lewis gift catalogue and it said 'Beth - buy me' so I did! It was only £49! It came today and I love it! Now I just have to learn how to use it!!

2 Sketches 4 You #13 - Bonus Sketch

I can safely put this card up now without Jamie seeing it (although I'm pretty sure he never looks!) It was our anniversary yesterday, 9 years!! And here's the card I made for him. I was looking around some of the past sketch challenges for some inspiration and I found this sketch, it just so happens it's for this week too, so I can enter it! The 'Love' was in a download from eBay but I can't find it now to say who from, then I covered it with Glossy Accents. Jamie thought it was a bought embellishment - hee hee! Then I used some scraps of Pink Petticoat paper with some inking and stitching. Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Sentiment - download, with Glossy Accents
Papers - Pink Petticoat
Gems - Mad About Cards
