Ismaki #33 and a mistake!

Enough of me waffling on about blog backgrounds, here's a card! It's for this weeks Ismaki sketch, although when I uploaded the sketch, I realised I forgot to add the bottom strip element - oops! If I can add something on, I'll change the picture! It's using a stamped image from a swap. I've left it quite plain because I reckon it looks like a mans card and they don't like fuss it seems! (I always think dogs are boys and cats are girls, I always have - weird!) Anyhoo, thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Stamp - Penny Black coloured with Whispers and Stickles on the hat and icing
Papers - Pearlescent from Create and Craft, others from stash
Stars and ribbon - stash
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards

Yey!

Well I won't win any awards but at least I have a background now! The background 'papers' are from The Shabby Shoppe. Hope you like it and it looks ok on your PC!

Errrmmm...

Well, I've worked out the header but still can't get my background to show, can anyone else see it? It's similar to the header. I don't really know why it's not, I've followed instructions on loads of different sites but it still doesn't show on my computer!!

Oh dear!

Excuse the boring blog background, I've been tinkering around with trying to make my own, lets just say it's a work in progress!

She's also donating 25p per card, what a sweetie?!! Here's my card, I'll post it off in the morning! Excuse the poor photo, the light is rubbish! Thanks for looking!

Penny Black Saturday #15!

Hi again PB fans! I hope you all enjoyed last weeks challenge! I've loved going round to see them all! This weeks is to Decorate the inside of your card. This can be in any way, theme or colour you wish, as long as there's a Penny Black stamp involved! Here's my card, I've made it into a 'pop-up' card with some images I received in a swap. I just made it by folding a strip of card into 4 (like a square) and attaching a side to each side of the card and one to the back of the image, so when the card folds, it all flattens. I put one on either end of the image to give more support, I hope that makes sense! If you zoom in, you can see the balloons on the outside and present bows on the inside, are glittery, just so you know! : )
I hope you like it, have a great weekend!

Supplies-
Stamps - 'Cheesecake Parade' & 'Life of the Party' from Penny Black water coloured with Whispers and Sakura stardust. Sentiment from Fun Stamps (ages ago!). Little present from a See D's set
Paper - Pink Petticoat 'Little Big dots'
Pearls - Glitterpot
Ribbon - Little Silver Hat (now extinct!)

Cute Card Thursday #28!

This weeks challenge on Cute Card Thursday is Food, I feel a bit bad calling these little guys food! I think they're so cute I had to buy them (I probably would have got the whole range had they been in stock - maybe a good thing!) I made the water effect by blobbing different colours onto wet paper, it turned out ok I think, apart from the bit in the middle! : ) Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Stamp - 'Peas on Earth' from Penny Black, water coloured with Whispers and Sakura stardust
Paper - DCWV '08 Traditional Christmas stack
Ribbon - stash (tied on my bow-maker)
Gems - Mad About Cards

Spoonfull of Sugar #17!

Me again! Here's my card for this weeks Christmas is Coming theme! I know it's not a cutsie one but hopefully it's still ok for the challenge! I glittered this poinsettia ages ago when I wasn't in a card making mood, but it's a hard thing to keep without getting battered about so I thought I'd better use it! Excuse the peel-off, peel-off haters! Hee hee! Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Stamp - 'Medallion Poinsettia' from eBay (but it's also on Create & Craft) glittered from behind on acetate
Ribbon - Poppicrafts
Everything else - stash
