Awww, the Penny Black gals are so lovely! Thanks for the congrats, it's much appreciated!! Jamie can't believe how many people care, it's so nice!!

On to this weeks challenge - I had to miss last week : ( - is Stars and Stripes. I immediately thought American but the severe lack of US inspired stamps put paid to that! So I got out the trusty Pink Petticoat! It was a bit scary stamping the sentiment! I don't know what I would have done if it'd gone wrong! Thanks for looking - I hope you like it!

Cute Card Thursday #23!

"This week the theme for the challenge is Soft Furnishings you can use fabric, ribbon, stitching, buttons etc, anything you can find on the soft furnishings in the home ie curtains, cushions, sofas etc."
Here's my card using the other Whiff of Joy stamp I treated myself to! This is a little bit cheeky as I've only used a tiny piece of ribbon, I was going to add stitching but thought it looked better without! There's glitter on the sleigh but it's hard to see in the photo, close up is better! Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Stamps- Charlotte and sleigh - Whiff of Joy, coloured with Whispers
sentiment- Dovecraft mini set
Brads- Poppicrafts
Ribbon- Ribbon Mad
Paper- DCWV Christmas stack
Crystal glitter from stash and edged with chalks

Papertake: Button It!

This week's challenge is to use a button or buttons on your project! If you don't have any buttons you could try drawing one freehand, making one with chipboard etc! Don't cut 'em off your cardies though lol!!!!
Here's my card using one of the fab new Whiff of Joy stamps! I'm so glad they came today as I don't work wednesdays so I've had time to play! I only ordered 2 and I'm already wishing I got more! I've made quite a simple card, I'm 3 behind on the nutter version of Fab's christmas challenge, I may have to just do the sane version! So I'm entering this card as the 4th of last months! I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Stamps- Charlotte and Cat - Whiff of Joy, coloured with Whispers and Stickles,
sentiment- Dovecraft mini set

Friday Sketchers #14

Hi again! Here's my card for this Fridays sketch challenge by Bea. Her sketches are so pretty! I have to say I'm quite pleased with how this came out! Thanks for stopping by!

Cute Card Thursday #22!

OK, so this isn't my usual style of card, but it's my mums birthday today and my dad has got her tickets for the Horse of the Year Show and therefore wanted a card with a horse theme. After scratching my head for a bit I decided the only way I could get a horse on there was to make a cross stitch one! An then a ....peel off! Ha ha! Don't judge me! Then I realised it fitted in to the Cute Card Thursday's challenge! "This week the theme is 'The two of us' We would like you to use two of something on your card, it could be 2 people, 2 animals or 1 of each" Thanks for looking!

Supplies-
Cross stitch pattern from the internet
Ribbon- Poppicrafts
Peel Off and gems form stash
Paper- Local craft shop (again! are you getting bored of it yet?!)

Penny Black Saturday #8!

Paper- DCWV spring stack, Mulberry paper from Mad About Cards
Ribbon from stash
