Katharina's New Stamps! GD call!

Katharina is launching a new range of stamps called Whiff of Joy. There's a new (amazingly talented!) design team, with room for Guest Designers every 2 months, it's all very exciting! Here is the link for here GD call, which is to make a card using this sketch, by the 30th of July.

Here's my entry! I've used my cute new Honey with Gifts Sugar Nellie stamp, paper pieced with Pink Petticoat paper (also in background) and coloured with water colour pencils. This card got some serious glitter treatment!! (It's hard to see in the photo, have a closer look!) The white card is stamped with little snowflakes and embossed with sparkly embossing powder, there's glitter on her coat, hat and scarf and then I used Stickles to make a border and also glitter the snowflake brads (Poppicrafts I think). Then I just matted it all on silver card, wrapped some thread around and added a Stamps Away Christmas sentiment embossed with silver powder. Phew! Thanks for looking!

I'm also adding this as my second for Fabs Christmas Challenge!

I'm also going to use this as the first of this months Fabs christmas challenge (to make 6 - eek!)

Papertake: Teenage Kicks!

This weeks Papertake is Teenage Kicks - make a card for a teenager. I still seem to think I am one so I enjoyed this! I used my Rockstar Sugar Nellie stamp, coloured with Whispers, PaperMania black and white star paper and a Mad about Cards download for the checked paper Then a sentiment made on the PC using 'Masking Tape' font and a few brads from my box. Friday Sketchers #10

I can feel the mojo slowly creeping back! So I thought I'd give the Friday Sketch by Heidi a go. The paper is from my local craft shop and that's where I got my colour scheme from. I've coloured the Sweet Ebony stamp with water colour pencils and a gel pen. The sentiment is Pink Cat Studio, the little charm is from Marlou (who is poorly and will hopefully be better soon) and the other bits are from my stash. I hope you like it!

Penny Black Saturday #5!

Wow, Week 5 already! Nothing like a challenge blog to make you realise how fast the year is going!
For this weeks challenge, there is this fab sketch! (Tracy knows I love sketch challenges!) I've used my Light the Night stamp coloured with Whispers pens, Doodlebug papers, a CraftWork cards sentiment and some little gems and ribbon for my stash.
Thank god I have a design team card to make, I don't really have a crafty mojo since I've been back from holiday and probably wouldn't make anything! Hopefully it will be back soon and I'll be posting a bit more regularly. Thanks for looking!

The sentiment stamp is Cuddly Buddly. I hope you like it and join in!
