Penny Black Saturday #3

I'm still on my holiday at this point and writing in the future, very weird! So I have no idea what's going on! But I do know the challenge for this weeks Penny Black challenge is a colour challenge, use Pink, Brown and Green. I love these colours together, they look really 'vintage'! I've used this cute stamp from the Critter Party clear set, watercoloured with Whispers and a water brush, the sentiment stamp is also Penny Black. Then I used Laura Ashley papers, ribbon, flower and pearl from my stash and Dovecraft flower brads. I hope you like it, and hope you can join in the challenge!

Penny Black Saturday #2!

Wow, there were so many fab entries last week! Thanks if you joined in, if not, why not give it a go this week! The challenge this week is Friendship over on the Penny Black Saturdays blog. Here is my card using this cute little Hedgie coloured with water colour pencils. I made the sentiment on my computer. The papers are Pink Petticoat and the flower was from my stash, then I just added a bit of stitching. I hope you like it!

Friday Sketchers #6

This is another challenge I had to miss out on last week, so here's this weeks! I decided to give stamping a miss and use a flower for the big circle. I've used Pink Petticoat papers, flowers and ribbon from my stash, a Craftwork cards sentiment and some silver mirror card. Thanks for stopping by! I think that's me done for today, I'm going on my hols on tuesday and I'm going to miss all my crafting so I thought I'd get some in today but now I'm knackered!!

Stamp Something #6

"The challenge is to create a project using a monochromatic colour scheme. We're loosely defining "monochromatic" as...one colour with any number of shades and one neutral (white, ivory, black)."

I havn't managed to get round to the last 2 challenges so here is my card for this weeks challenge! The only cards I could think of with one main colour was baby cards so I've used this cool SU Stork stamp from a lovely lady called Debbie who sells retired stamp sets from her blog but I've lost her web address, if you're reading, I'm sorry! The paper is Doodlebug, the pearls are from Glitter Pot and the ribbon was in my craft box. Thanks for looking!

Cute Card Thursday #14 & My Time To Craft #18

Time to combine some more challenges as I never seem to have time to do them all but don't want to miss out on any - I really should learn to let go!

This weeks Cute Cards challenge is to use 3 different embellishments and My Time to Craft is Birds. I've used Pink Cat Studio Farm stamps coloured with Whispers, some Doodlebug paper and my 3 embellishments are the ribbon, little gems and the balloons. I hope you like it!

Spoonfull of Sugar #3

Here's my card for this weeks Spoonfull of Sugar challenge, 3-2-1 "We would like you to use a Recipe, 3 brads or buttons, 2-pattern papers and 1 flower."

I'v used the Simon and Lola image coloured with watercolour pencils and some Doodlebug papers. Then I bent the rules slightly as I technically used leaves and not a flower but I keep them in the same box! Then I used 3 brads as holly berries. This is also my final card for this months Fab's Christmas Challenge. Thanks for looking!

Penny Black Saturday #1!!!

Oooh, this is so exciting, the first Penny Black Saturday challenge! If you don't know what I'm on about, have a look here! The other Design Team cards are a true inspiration and there's a brilliant prize up for grabs!
This weeks challenge is First Stamp, make a card or other item using the first Penny Black stamp you bought. I've made one using my cute Bun Bun stamp - the first of another addiction! I also used DCWV spring paper, some flower brads, PC sentiment and some spotty ribbon. I hope you like it, I'd love you to join in!

Papertake: Sketch #4

Here's is my card for this weeks Papertake, with another of Katharinas fab sketches. I've flipped it to fit in this cute Birdhouse picture, one of the new downloads from Pink Petticoat which I've coloured with water colour pencils and edged with brown ink. Then I used some DCWV spring paper, a strip of glitter card, some white ribbon and some mini sticky pearls. I hope you like it!

Cute Card Thursday & 2 Sketches #1

This is my 2nd combo card! I've used Lauras sketch from the fab new sketch blog, 2 Sketches, a new pair of sketches every monday! I've also made this for Cute Card Thursday challenge, which is to make a christmas card, and the 4th this month for Fab's Christmas challenge. I've used another of the cute Zoobies images that Stacey sent me, coloured with Whispers and a white gel pen. Doodlebug backing paper (I love this paper but whichever way up I use it I always seem to have all the upside down words showing!) A magazine freebie sentiment, glitter card and some ribbon from my stash. Then a few inky edges! Thanks for looking!

A Spoonfull of Sugar #2 & Friday Sketchers #5

I've hardly had any time for crafting, how depressing! So I've decided to combine a few challenges, hope that's ok! This card is my 3rd for this months Fab's Christmas challenge. I've used Kimmies layout for Friday Sketchers challenge and also the Spoonfull of Sugar colour challenge, which is to use pink, green and blue. I've used my Lola with gift stamp, coloured with watercolour pencils, some DCWV christmas paper and Pink Petticoat spotty paper. The white twill is from Ribbon Mad I think (not sure though!) and some little pearls from Glitter Pot. The sentiment stamp is a Studio G mini stamp. Phew! I hope you like it!

Fabs Christmas challenge!

This months challenge (if you're a nutter! - his words not mine!) is to create 5 christmas cards. Here is my second for this month. I've used some DCWV paper, a Pink Petticoat image with Stickles icing - yummy! The ribbon is from Hobbycraft and the jewel brad's from Poppicrafts. Also the sketch is a past sketch from Cupcake Challenges, it's quite cool, every friday she has a challenge, sometimes a sketch, sometimes a colour challenge etc and they all have cupcakes on! Dottie's World Sketch challenge!

I couldn't join in last weeks recipe challenge as I don't have any embossing things or a Cuttlebug....yet! :) So I was looking forward to this weeks, and I'm so glad, it's a sketch challenge, I love them! Although I've changed this a wee bit. I've used the Magic Princess Dottie, some pink glitter card, a 'princess' sticker and lots of Stickles and doodles! The cute crown brad is from Poppicrafts. Sweet Sugar Challenge #7

Yey, Sweet Sugar Challenges are back! And this time with a chance to be on the design team, I would love that job!! The task this fortnight is to create something other than a card, using Sugar Nellie stamps. I've used the Lola with Gift stamp, matted onto silver mirror card and some glitter card then watercoloured with Whispers, to alter this box. The paper is Doodlebug and the ribbon, button and flowers were all from my stash. Then I used Stickles on her scarf, pockets and hem for a bit of Christmassy glitz. I hope you like it!

Cute Card Thursday #12

Sorry I havn't been around much, I've been crazy busy then when I did get a chance for some crafting, I just stared into space and couldn't come up with anything, does this happen to you? Or just me?! :)
Anyhoo, this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge (even though it's sunday!) is to use Patterned Paper. I've used the first of the cute Zoobies from Stacey (they're fab!) and I coloured the croc with watercolour pencils and raised him up on foam pads. The sentiment is from the computer and the patterned paper is a Paper Mania pad. The brad was from Nikki. Thanks for looking!
