After a rubbish day at work, I came home to find this lovely package from Stacey as a Thank You for her prize! It's such a beautiful card and the Zoobies images are so cute!

Spoonfull of Sugar #1

This is the first challenge from the new Sugar Nellie's blog. This week is Summer Fun! I've used a stamped image from Anesha, coloured with watercolour pencils, some Pink Petticoat paper and sentiment, then a few little gems and some ribbon from Little Silver Hat. I was 15 and at school 'studying' for my GSCEs, it seems like 5 minutes ago!

2. 5 Things in todays 'To Do List'
1-Clean the bathroom, ergghh!
2-Make at least one challenge card
3-Make a birthday card for my Dad from my brother
4-I'm a hairdresser and wednesdays are my 'mobile' day so I've got 5 haircuts to do this evening
5-Book a holiday!!

3. Snacks I enjoy.
1-Eccles cakes (my boyfriend finds this hilarious!)
2-Skittles
3-Any kind of crisps!

4. Things I would do If I was a Millionaire.
1-Pay off my family's mortage
2-Go on a 3 week Carribean holiday
3-Give some to animal charities
4-Make myself an amazing craft room with space for everything, I nice view to look out on and space for Poppy to sleep at my feet!

5. Places I have Lived.
Only 2, I was born in Jersey but moved to Basingstoke when I was 2 and still live here. We're kind of stuck now as it's between mine and my boyfriends jobs!

Papertake & Ismaki #21

This weeks Papertake challenge is One for the Fellas! I've also used this weeks Ismaki sketch from Claudia. I've used the Sugar Nellie Skater Boy stamp, watercoloured with Whispers, the check paper was is my prize from Tag - You're it and the sentiment was made using a cool barcode font on my PC. Then I just added a corner brad from Poppicrafts, some little star brads and some doodling. Oh, and the metal effect paper is from Hobbycraft yonks ago. Thanks for looking!

Friday Sketchers #3 & Stamp Something #3

This weeks Stamp Something challenge is Faux Something. Here's my card, I've gone for faux stitching using a white souffle pen. I've also used my gorgeous Elisabeth Bell stamp watercoloured with Whispers. The papers are Basic Grey, I always seem to pick up pinks and greens when using this stamp, I don't know why! Then I added some faux pearls, little flowers, a strip of hessian and a sentiment made on the PC. Thanks for looking!

Cute Card Thursday #11

Here is my card for this weeks Cute Card Challenge which is another of Katharinas fab sketches. I'm also entering this as the first of this months Fab's Christmas Challenge (4 to go)! I've used a Magnolia stamped image from Nikki coloured with watercolour pencils, Pink Petticoat Snowflakes paper, Stamps Away sentiment stamp then some little pearls and some silver ribbon. I hope you're all enjoying the rainy bank holiday! I'm going to be snuggly crafting all day!

My Time to Craft

This weeks challenge is New Home. I didn't have anything 'housey' so I decided to go down the 'pun' route! I've used a Penny Black stamped image watercoloured with Whispers, K&Co stripey paper, a Woodware alphabet set for the sentiment and the felt flower and ribbon are from my craft box! Friday Sketchers #2

This weeks challenge is by Bea and is pretty in itself! I've flipped it slightly because the buttons looked funny next to his head! I've used a High Hopes Precious Cargo stamp coloured with Whispers, some K&Co paper, a sentiment from Pink Petticoat, and some white ribbon and little buttons from Poppicrafts. Then I added some faux stitching and highlights with a souffle pen. Thanks!

Ismaki #20

This is my card for this week's Ismaki. The optional challenge is no patterned paper, I almost made it but just slipped a little bit in at the end! I've used a Pink Cat Studio Farm Animals stamp coloured with Whispers and Stickles for icing. The paper is from Doodlebug. Then I just added some more of the little cakes and some doodling! I enjoyed this challenge but cutting the circle card was tricky! Thanks for visiting!

Stamp Something #2 & Mojo Monday #38

The Stamp Something challnge this week is Thank You. Lots of stamping on this card! I've used a Penny Black Duckling stamp coloured with watercolour pencils. The spotty background is stamped with a SeeD's cluster stamp and the sentiment was a magazine freebie. The pink and the flowery paper are from an old Sizzix pad. I also decided to use a Mojo Monday sketch. I never have before but always mean to! I hope you like it!

Tag - You're it! #7

This weeks Tag challenge is Pretty and Feminine, I think you could say my tag is that! I've used my Ballet Maggie stamp, coloured with Whispers and Stickles, some PM paper with faux stitching, some vellum letters and a flower. Papertake: Sketch #3

I love Katharinas sketches!! Here's my card for this week. I was very lucky to win one of the new Sugar Nellie Sweet Ebony stamps from the Sugar Nellie blog. I wasn't sure which would come and I was so pleased when the post came this morning and it was Pickin Apples, she's my favourite! I coloured her with watercolour pencils then added a PC sentiment, some little flowers and Laura Ashley papers. I hope you like it!

Dottie's World #2: Double Up!

I've gone for the Dress Up cheerleader Dottie and the football George to make a kind of sporty good luck card. I've kept this quite simple, I coloured them with Whispers, added a sentiment from the PC, then a bit of doodling and 2 football brads from Poppicrafts. Hope you like it!

My Paper World #10

This is my card for this fortnights Paper World sketch. I moved it around a litle because the right corner looked a bit bare.I've used the birthday Hamish stamp, coloured using Katharinas brilliant colouring demo, using watercolour pencils and H2O's. I'd never have thought to use them like this! I like how he came out! The papers were free with a magazine, the rub-on is Doodlebug, the plate stamp is Stamps Away and the ribbon is from Poppicrafts. I'm not sure about the gem! Thanks for looking!

Cute Card Thursday #10

I can't believe it's week 10 already! This weeks theme is Vacation or Travel, so I thought I would use this cute Hawaiian Dottie image from the Dress Up range. I coloured her with Whispers (not very well!) and used some DCWV Pocket Full of Posies paper. Then paper-pricked a border, added some gems and a flower! Hope you're having a nice weekend!

Papertake: Luscious Lime and Lilac

"Onto this weeks challenge! This weeks challenge is another colour combination! Luscious Lime and Lilac - or any shades of green and purple!"

I've had this sheet of purple, green and glittery handmade wrapping paper in my box for years and never seem to use it, until now! I've put it with a Pink Cat studio stamp, coloured with Whispers, a Wendie Rhodes Doodles stamp, some little flowers, gems and some ribbon. I hope you like it!

Tag - You're It: Black & Gold

Just time for a quick tag challenge today. The theme on Tag You're It this week is Black & Gold (I've got that song in my head now!). I've used a Woodware Fairy Magic stamp with VersaMark and gold embossing powder, some gold mirror card cut with scalloped scissors and a bit of gold ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!

Ismaki #19

Hi! I hope you've all been able to enjoy the sun at some point today! Here's my card for this weeks Ismaki sketch. Although I like the sketch, I'm not sure about the card as I'm rubbish at measuring!! I've used some paper from my local craft shop (the make is Buzzcraft(?)) with a Penny Black Bunny stamp coloured with Whispers. The optional challenge this week is Sparkle so I added some Stickles to the flower and some little gems. Thanks for looking!
